Love these silver dollar shaped pieces of jerky. Tender, a little spicy, a little salty, so perfect! Never regret buying this. Absolutely hands down the best rendition you can get from this product. Also low calorie and high protein for those on special diets. Can’t recommend enough. Buy it. You’ll like it!

This product is hit or miss, this time was a BIG MISS! There’s no pepper, but ridiculously salty; the texture is also rather mushy. I wish I hadn’t added it to another order I placed today (this one arrived later in the day). I probably won’t waste my time and money on it again.
It’s really too bad, I enjoyed my last purchase and was looking forward to this one.

As a Pacific Northwest resident, they use to sell these at gas stations for .25 cents a piece when I was young and I would always grab some. My nostalgic feelings have been satisfied.

I’ve had a lot of there normal bagged jerky and love it. These are a uniform round disc and are even better than the normal Old Trappers Jerky. I wouldn’t think twice about ordering these again! Absolutely amazing. I was looking for a dry hard type of jerky and these are perfect! Can’t say enough about the the texture and flavor and these are a very reasonable price for jerky. All jerky is expensive but this is so worth the price and I was really pleased and surprised at the large quantity received. I always have jerky on road-trips and these will accompany every road-trip from here on out. Great product!!!

Old Trapper is a brand I trust. I’ll grab a bag of their jerky before anyone else’s, even leaving price out of the picture.
I won’t say this stuff is bad, but I don’t like it at all.
It’s not beef jerky – it’s all the little pieces that they sweep up off the floor or whatever, then they run it through a blender until it’s dust. They must use a hydraulic press or something to form it into a big log, and then they cut slices off of that.
In my opinion, it’s salty beyond reason. It’s really, really dry, like you’re not eating it without a glass of water handy. It’s also way over-seasoned.
I hate to sound overly dramatic, but if a random person handed a piece to me and I took a bite, I’d swear it was a dog treat or something similar.
Don’t get me wrong. Normal Old trapper beef jerky? Like what you find at the convenience store or gas station? 10 stars all the way.
This stuff, not so much.

This type of jerky is new to me. In essence I think it is beef that is ground and then shaped into these coins, which some people may not like. It is softer than traditional jerky because of this, and is a bit like a big thick pepperoni. They are quite salty but great to snack on a couple when you have a craving for salt. The Hot & Spicy flavor has that red pepper taste that I love, so that one is the best flavor in my opinion. I have gone through two tubs and definitely will order more.

Good flavor, Very fresh, Chewable
I was hoping for Black Pepper, instead is Hot Pepper seasoning. They are kinda hot, enough to make your lips burn a little. It isn’t ghost peoples or anything but you should know they are just under jalapeno hotness.

These don’t taste overly sweet; they have a good, solid, meaty taste. VERY much like Lowery’s original beef jerky in the 70s. I love the texture, though they’re obviously processed for a perfectly smooth texture.

I got the teriyaki and it’s quite good. The product was in round pieces which was a surprise, but nice in that its easy to chew without making your jaws sore from tearing like a wolf! I would order again.
