I’m a bit of a coffee aficionado, always on the hunt for that perfect cup. illy Classico Whole Bean Coffee, specifically the medium roast, has been my latest experiment. This coffee has a certain classic charm to it – it’s like the comfort food of coffee. The medium roast hits a sweet spot, offering a balanced flavor without the bitterness some beans carry. The caramel notes are a highlight, giving it a warm, inviting taste, especially on those chilly mornings.
Now, compared to something like Blue Bottle, which I’ve been a fan of for a while, illy Classico holds its own. Blue Bottle is often my go-to for a more robust, intense flavor, but illy offers a smoother, more mellow experience. It doesn’t pack the same punch, but that’s not a bad thing. It’s more of a relaxed, easy-going cup that’s great for everyday drinking.
Overall, I’m giving it four stars. It doesn’t quite knock Blue Bottle off its pedestal for me, but it’s a solid, dependable choice when I’m in the mood for something a bit more laid-back. Plus, it’s pretty accessible price-wise, which is always a bonus.

Illy has always made an excellent product although very expensive. I would give product 5 stars if not for price. Lavazza, Kimbo and a few other Italian brands offer similar products at more reasonable prices.

I love the coffee by Ellie because it’s always a good quality and great flavor, this time I picked up the Costa Rica coffee and it’s great. It’s a dark roast. Lots of flavor you’ll like this thing was my cans came in dents. It didn’t affect the flavor, but these were gifts that I was going to give so that was the only issue.
