These were great. Not what I expected but really enjoyed them. Not a ton of maple flavor as I hoped for but very satisfying

I love these! They are crunchy and have that nice melty fat with the crunch. The maple flavor makes it so much better. We buy these when we can. I just wish we had more money cause I would buy more than I typically do so price is my only issue but as far as the product goes ull love it!

Don’t know if it is a plus or a minus, but my cat went NUTS over these, she does not usually like human food…. would not leave me alone. So I guess these are “human treats”!

Pros:
-Delicious. The meat did nothing wrong.
Cons:
-Cost way too much.
-I can bust my teeth on cracklings at a more competitive rate at any mom n pop or bodega in United States, and it will be a more authentic experience.

man i dont know if the epic brand in general is just super bland, but these are the 3rd item weve tried from them and they were all pretty gross. the other two we could at least stomach, but these pork skins were next level gross. they had no real flavor, they just tasted like grease with some crunch. and i mean, they’re pork skins, i know its gonna be a bit oily, but these just tasted like old cold oil and nothing else. i hate to waste food and i’ll almost never throw things away unless they are gone bad or inedible, and i had to toss these. i tried seeing if a dipping sauce could salvage them, but it didnt really help, so they went in the trash.

I thought this was going to be epic I was disappointed it was texture was odd to me

Wow, these are by far the best tasting pork rinds ever. The only issue is cost, they are just so expensive. I don’t buy them often because of price and the rich flavor, can’t eat em too much.
Really nice texture and flavors, crunchy, soft, dusty, sweet, hint of spice. I’m not a big pork rinds person, but since switching to low carbs lifestyle I started eating them more. I’ve only bought these twice, but each time they are just so good.

Flavors good but bags too small for the price.

Interesting texture. Compared to a regular pork skin that just crunches, these seems to have like pork belly attached to the skin. So there more of like a melt in your mouth with a lot less crunch. Nice sweet flavor if you can get past the different texture. Also when shopping on Whole Foods make sure you’re checking ounces and sizes from the picture I thought the bag would be a bit bigger. Your getting better quality and better cuts, but some of the portions will be a lot smaller

Very good quality and flavor. Been on a keto kick. These have a little sugar and the artisanal/maple got me.
These were tiny and a super small bag…..like a midget trying to loose weight who also wanted to spend all of his midget money….. OK – I have nothing against midgets….I like them, but it was the only description that worked for me right now. Apologies to those that actually read this and are offended.
I would pay $1.99 at the “local” store for ones that were almost as good (spicy rather than sweet – but not the MSG gross ones), and I would get more than I could eat. Hug the “whole” pig – we get it – just 500 bags at a time.
Austin should cost less then NYC bodega.
I’d eat another for free – but I would not buy one….
If you saw a bag that small for $7.91 – you would run.
