I ordered these for use for myself and others, so that when we go into the office, we have a device to open the mail with. These are nice and sturdy and perfect for use for that purpose. The item came on time and as promised.

I spent 37 years in records management & we used these to prep records to be microfilmed or scanned. They are the perfect letter opener. Quick, easy, and you never end up with a mangled envelope. That was important for filming or scanning & now it’s just habit. All of these are pretty much the same as far as I can tell, but this set seemed like the best deal. I didn’t really need three, but since I suspect I threw my old one away in a stack of junk mail it doesn’t hurt to have backup.

Cannot really complain with these, they work as intended. The razors are sharp and the pointed edge comes in handy as a guide for when opening packages and letters. You would need to place the razor to right before the start of the glue/tape and then slide away. Have a few of these around the house and would purchase again when needed.

It is quite sharp and works very well. I do question the longevity of this opener as it seems kinda frail at the point where you insert it into an envelope. However, at what they cost….and the fact you get three of them for the money….I say….sure give it a shot….it won’t hurt your wallet to bad if you break them all.

This review is for the 3-pack of black letter openers. Looking for a super cheap letter opener? Get these. They do exactly what they need to do. The blade is sharp enough to open envelopes. The shape is right. The design is good. What I don’t like about them is that they are so incredibly thin. They are flimsy due to how thin they are. Ideally, 2 together would be the thickness and durability that I’d desire. I wouldn’t get them again, but for a cheap letter opener, this works.
