I suppose millennials never saw a proper size avocado, but compared to the 80’s avocados from California, these are like quail eggs are to chicken or duck eggs.
Fortunately they taste the same and they have a tiny pit. So tiny that they don’t work with the pit remover.
Size aside, my only real complaint is Amazon has poor QC. Put them on a truck from Mexico, not a donkey or mule train. They are rotten much too often. The boxes have packing dates, set some standards! Sure they refund the money, but now I need to place another order, meet the new minimum for free shipping… Hey wait, I see what you guys are doing. Very clever. The profit motive!
Anyway, check them immediately. Sometimes they are just starting to go bad and if you eat them immediately, you can save 90-95% of it.

These were fresh and nice and ripe
Nalbation –
Good avocados that arrived with a day or two to go before being perfectly ripe.

Avocados are good but Amazon should indicate the size.
If the stick-on labels says #4046 it’s 3-5 oz /Small-Medium,
#4225 it’s 8-10 oz Large and #4770 it’s 10-15 oz Extra Large.
How can you buy avocados without knowing the size in the
bag, Should be indicated in product description.

The net bags of avocados are generally smaller in size, but they are perfectly sized for one person. Usually hard and not ripe, I leave them all out for a day or two. One is left out to fully ripen & the rest go in the fridge to be ripened as needed. This method extends the edibility for as long as a 2-3 weeks. Living back East, I never heard of avocados but after moving to California in the late 1950’s, it was love at first bite and it’s a rare thing when avocados are not in the fridge or in a bowl on the kitchen counter.

Well they came “rock hard’ & no where near ripened… I’m still waiting for them to ripen..sigh

They are always fresh and sometimes to green. But no mom has ever said to Green is a bad thing. This just means that we will not have to talk this out because it goes bad too quickly!
This is a household staple, and we absolutely love it. The price point of buying this from the fresh market at Amazon is much better than buying it at a local grocery store in New York City.

These came in a very fast manner. Came very fresh and soft and smell great.
