A pack of 2 or 3 is great and lasts for quite a while in refrigerator bin. I use for salads and also on sandwiches because it is easy to break a leaf into 2 pieces to add to sandwiches.

They are hearts but I don’t buy them if there is the option to purchase the whole Romaine heads because they don’t have the lush green outer leaves.

This is my favorite Romaine lettuce. It is always very clean, fresh, crisp and has just the right amount of the outer leafy fronds without too many of the darker green ones. Just wish this wasn’t so often out of stock.

I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH: WASH BEFORE YOU EAT
I didn’t the first time because I’m dumb.
And then the next pieces I got had little dead flies between them. I was sooo grossed out but it even says to wash before eating. You can’t expect everything to be super perfect and clean, especially shtuff that grows outside.
Super tasty, good for sandwiches.
Love to eat these with pickles, lunch meat and tomatoes between them.
