Up until this time, I had never had a fig outside of a fig newton. The way I would describe this is like a giant sweet raisin that didn’t have any after taste to it, or and extra dried bits that you sometimes get, but a nice pleasant taste and texture. Personally, I think that the smyrna type is a bit better in flavor and texture, but these by themselves are great.

somewhere it needs to say they’re dried rather than just sun ripened. was hoping for something just ripened and not desiccated and tough. ‘excellent’ dried figs… just should say that ~ will keep looking for non-dried to heck figs.

These mission figs are pretty good.

These are NOT fresh figs as advertised. They are dried; similar to raisins. Extremely disappointed and a waste of money.

These figs are not like a rock. They’re soft. I put mine in a blender with other fruit. Works well. I’ve had some other brands that were hard and loaded with seeds. These are great.

We use these mostly in salads. Tasty, nutritious and reasonably priced for the best organic figs.

I normally like Terrasoul products but these figs are fermented and bad. Not returnable. $14.99 wasted. Ugh!
I will update my original above comments about the fermented figs, which were not good. However, customer service is excellent; I didn’t contact them. They contacted me when they read my review and shortly thereafter refunded my $14.99. Thank you TerraSoul.

Saw the word ‘fresh’ in the product information on package. No other fig package on Amazon that I saw, has it, even another type of fig sold by Terra Soul. Soaking and using once a day, making a tea from the soak water. It is alkalizing because it is made from fresh figs. . Research this on line.

They didn’t have a lot of sugar bloom on them so they were very fresh.
I grew up with sugar figs and Turkish figs and miss being able to just pick them and eat them right off the tree. But this is the next best thing.
A very healthy food

A little to dry and not much flavor… Started fermenting quickly after opening, could have been my fault for not putting opened bag in fridge… But don’t usually have to refrigerate dry fruit.
