This was good cauliflower for an excellent price for a long time.
I didnt order it for a few weeks – then when I got my order today it was 10 oz instead of 12 and it cost the same. The package was tiny. I’ll be buying it from Ralphs from now on.

Normally, I cook fresh cauliflower in the microwave with a little salt and butter, and I love that. This, however, had many badly bruised and brown pieces, although it had a couple of days to go to its best-by date. Approximately 1/4 of the package had to be thrown away. Once cooked, the cauliflower had absolutely no flavor. I’ve never had anything like it. Waste in trimming fresh cauliflower was my main reason for buying this pretrimmed product. If I have to pay extra for someone to prep the cauliflower, and still have to toss 1/4+ of it, there is no point in buying it in this form. I’ve had other brands of fresh cauliflower florets that were excellent. This is just a bad deal and bad product. I wouldn’t buy it again.

The crispness of the microwaved cauliflower was delectable. This frozen cauliflower far exceeded my expectations.

Its not dirt, its not mold… But it doesn’t wash off. Not the first time I’ve experienced this from these either. Maybe because they’re not organic, they also taste different than the regular amazon brand florets i get. On a positive note, the florets are of good size and half the bag isn’t “riced” cauliflower like i often get from the regular amazon brand.

The cauliflower is fresh, can’t complain about that, but I will say that there are a lot of little itty-bitty teeny weenie pieces amongst maybe four or five reasonably sized florettes. I would not buy this again. It is so easy to break up a cauliflower. I don’t know what I was thinking. Spend like ninety cents more and get the whole cauliflower.

The important thing to know is that, this is a very, very small bag of cauliflower. I would highly recommend going with the full head if you need to feed more than one person or it the base of your meal for one.
Apparently the size of the bag has changed from back in the day til now, so be aware… this is supposed to be 10 ounces, the photos and info in the description say it’s 12 ounces and I only got 9 ounces and not all edible. Don’t go by the photo of the plated cauliflower either… I got about half of that. 5 normal sized florets, a few small ones and half were tiny pieces and “crumbs”. I would say this will be good for one person as a side item only. This was a disappointment.
