These berries are very flavorful and the packaging preserves them handily for a long time
Me Dee –
I just loved this dry mango, as I eat mango when in season this is just the best best way to eat the fruit when out of season.

Love these!

I am using it first to add to my probiotic cheese They do dehydrate well also. Didn’t need to pressure cook them, dehydrated completely.

My first time trying this mix, and I have to say that my review is mixed too. When I get a good scoop, everything tastes fine. I mostly use it on top of oatmeal. However, one day I almost cracked a tooth because I bit into one of the dried fruit pieces (I’m guessing a cherry) and encountered a pit. A few other times, raisins or other fruit have had woodsy bits of stem attached. When that happens, it’s not a pleasant eating experience.

I got these by mistake and I’m so glad. The package is gone as I’ve used it in rice pudding, berry coffee cake and in mulled wine and hot apple cider. I’m thinking of other uses but as a snack it can’t be beat.

Summary:
I have been looking for alternative snacks that I can have on hand instead of normal candy. My boss brought some dried mango snacks in that were amazing. I thought I would try these to see how they compared. Below are a few pros/cons.
Pro:
– Taste: These are pretty good. They retain the mango taste pretty good. Not quite the same as fresh, but still pretty good.
– Texture: These are pretty soft, almost like prunes or gummy candies, with a grainy type texture.
– Amount in Bag: I have been snacking on these for the last few days. I eat about 6 or 7 pieces at a time, and I still have about half the bag. I think the quantity is pretty good.
Cos:
– Sweetness: These are very sweet. The added sugar really makes these closer to a candy than a fruit snack.
– Cost: These are a little expensive, though I have found others to cost more. I paid roughly $16 with taxes on them, which is more than I normally spend for snacks.
Overall:
Despite the cost, I may end up getting these again. I really enjoy the taste and having something other than chocolate. These would be good mixed in with other snacks, maybe a party dish type thing. If you like mangos, this might be a good snack to keep around.

Top notch product.

It is high in natural sugar. It is chewy and a nice snack. I plan to sprinkle it on my green toss salad instead of just dried cranberries.

These berries are really good, and make for a good snack. The only thing is that I believe one would more often use these for baking, as they are pretty sticky, which is what makes them so juicy!
