We only cook with ghee and this brand is really great.

This ghee is not very good. it has gritty texture and is partially melted/solid. It tastes and smell bad. There are other options that cost slightly more per ounce but are far better quality.

The flavor of ghee for cooking veges is amazing. I cannot use butter like I used to so this makes up for it. Yes, I have made my own. This is easier. Well worth it for me. Organic grass fed sold it for me. Thanks.

This is a great product, I’ve used it for cooking and baking and eating seafood. This is the first time I bought it from Amazon, I used to get it from Costco but they discontinued it and the supply I bought at the end of the run has run out. I use it in all my cooking that calls for butter. I wish the price was just a bit cheaper but it’s still a good value.

I find this to be the best quality ghee sold in the US regardless of the source through which one buys it. I have been using it for years, in variety of packaged quantities. I come from a family of people who did this for generations. And I seem to innately know that this is the real deal. Everything about it is giving it away. The flavor, the texture (with those minute granular things called daanedar), its melting point in heat, and without… and so on. If you know about ghee, you will prob understand what I say. But if you don’t know anything about ghee, you may have a different system of assessing it (such as no smell, paste like appearance etc), all of which are indicative of what would infact be a poor quality or chemically altered fat. You want real stuff, this is it. Like I said, have been using it for years and hoping that the manufacturer and keep that quality consistent. There is nothing more frustrating than to find all over again something else to switch to for traditional foods such as quality ghee.

This was my first time ordering this ghee. I ordered it because we use a lot of ghee and this one was so reasonably priced. Everyone who uses ghee knows how much store-bought costs and how much you go through – esp if you’re baking with it! I ordered two so that I would have a back-up. Well we are at the bottom of our first container. I can see that the second looks the same. I’ve suspected all along that it isn’t genuine ghee but some half-purified butter. As you can see it has a granular texture unlike any other ghee we’ve ever used – this is whether it is 65 or 90 degrees in our kitchen (was 72 degrees F when I took that pic). It also has an odor that I can only describe as a slightly rancid dairy odor. It’s not completely like make-you-gasp strong but it’s undeniably there when you smell it and, unless you’re using it in a very flavorful/heavily spiced dish, you can taste it. I tried sneaking it into a couple of paleo baking recipes but it ruins them – you can taste that rancid dairy taste coming through. I am the type that hates wasting so I’ve continued to use it but I bought what used to be my go-to: Organic Valley ghee last week on sale and used it the other day and it’s so smooth and creamy and melts evenly and has no rancid smell whatsoever. It reminded me of the glorious properties which ghee SHOULD possess. I may have to toss the rest of this junk stuff after all if I can bring myself to wasting. I wouldn’t recommend esp if you’re Whole 30 or using for paleo/keto baking.

I definitely recommend this Ghee as it taste and feel original ghee , I have used ghee in India and Asia 40 years ago this taste and feel same as 40 years ago produce organically in my village .

I’ve ordered this before on Amazon and it was great. This last order was not. I realize it separates when at room temperature but when it’s cold it still is very oily and does not turn solid. It’s as if there is more oil in it. Weird. I tried to return it but I didn’t know this was a non returnable item. The flavor is just ok. The product has little chunk pieces of ghee that just settles at the bottom. Not sure if I will order again from Amazon. I’ll probably buy from a store. At least they’ll take it back if it’s not right .

I agree with other reviews that it’s very runny. My opinion is ghee should be soft but not runny. So I just figured I’d try heating it up on the stove top in a ditch oven and then pour off into canning jars and seal. It set up firm and is no longer runny. Happy in the end and for the price I don’t mind taking the extra step. 3 stars because product as is is less than desirable.

If you like ghee, this is a good choice. Delicious taste and no need to keep in the fridge. We use it for over half of our cooking oil needs.
