Quite by accident, I found some news articles on why some organic dairy farmers switched from Horizon to Organic Valley. And that’s why I switched from Horizon to Organic Valley. I have been very happy with the Organic Valley products. They are always excellent quality and delicious.

I added a little bit to eggs and the eggs were delicious. The rest of it in two different nights. I hand whipped it and ate it with berries that I dipped in it one by one. I added a little arrow root because I thought maybe that helps with the fluff staying fluffy. and the first time I added a pinch of salt and the other time I added a pinch of vanilla. It was all delicious. I whipped it a little bit extra because I like it thicker and what can I say? read the title 🙂

I love this product! It’s creamy and rich. My only issues are the price and the additive they use to keep it from clumping?
I’ve had some instances where every carton was clumped! I’m also disappointed that a larger size is available for restaurants. I would like that option as well. Otherwise, I have tried many different brands, I like this cream the best.

Something new: this contains gellan gum. Formerly this was not the case for this item, but now they’re putting additives in the HWC – even in the 365 Heavy Cream, which was formerly the absolute best.
If you don’t mind additives, today gellan gum is still considered GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe), but I don’t trust any of them. IMHO It’s just a matter of time before they figure out why this additive is also unhealthy, and I’m not getting on that bandwagon. Very disappointing. There is now NO clean HWC on the market – at any price.
