This is my ‘go to’ butter when it’s an ingredient in baking or for adding to a dish to get a more creamy, deep flavor. Great, all around butter.
I do use other butters for spreading on home made breads because of the enhanced flavor of higher fat % butter. I use these in very small amounts.

I often purchase Land O Lakes Butter and it’s a high quality butter (to me). The thing I like about purchasing on Amazon Fresh, are the half sticks!! I cannot find them at my local supermarket. There’s no difference in taste compared to full sticks but I just enjoy using them. Half the size of a regular stick which is used up faster so less chance of an open stick picking up odors/flavors from your fridge. The price could be a little lower because to be honest I’ll purchase locally if I find a better price.

I bought this 8 cube pound of butter on a whim. I saw it in Fresh and it was less expensive than the traditional 4 cube pound. I found, however, that I really liked the smaller cubes. I was instinctively using less butter –and that’s better for me. I like butter; I like a little baked potato with my butter. Does that explain my love affair with it? I do believe a little butter is better for you than the alternatives, but it’s still not very heart healthy so using less a positive step in the right direction. Besides, it’s easier to rationalize.

Butter was always a treat for me as a kid; my mother bought margarine because it was cheaper but it didn’t taste as good and decades later we know that spreads and margarines have a lot of bad stuff in them. I know this is salted but I don’t use salt very often so I’m not concerned. If I use an un-salted butter I might use a little salt on my corn or on my eggs in the morning but generally I don’t salt much.
This butter is rich and creamy and delicious. It spreads easily enough if allowed to sit at room temperature for a little while after removing from the refrigerator as that’s where we keep it.

Delicious and spreads easily. Love to cook with it and o have eaten much more toast because of it. Biscuits too. Garlic bread. Makes steaks taste great.

honestly for being butter it was a great flavor, very creamy!
