This is by far the best soymilk. It has no nasty added ingredients like most of them do. I put it in my coffee every morning. It’s so rich and creamy, I don’t need any kind of sweetener!

According to Amazon’s list of ingredients (since Silk had no pictures), this was supposed to be pure soymilk without any “vitamin and mineral” additives. That may have been an old formula, as unfortunately this is no longer the case. It now has all the same additives as almost all other non dairy milks.
I am sensitive to VitA Palmitate so I have to avoid this- I will go back to Califia Farms’ organic unsweetened almond milk as that is actually free of them, or Edensoy if it’s on sale.

This milk helps me out a lot because I need phytoestrogens in my life. It helps me with mineral retention, etc.

The taste was okay. A little band.

Way before any other kinds of milk had come out Soy Milk was the only thing I could get in its fresher state way before it even hit the milk cartons, the old method was much more thicker and creamier then back in the late 80s and it took a while to get used to the stronger taste, then here comes Silk Soy milk first sold as shelf milk, I gave it try and I had never gone back to the old fashion Soy milk ever again. Yup I am hooked, what I like about the unsweeten version is I can cook with it much better than almond, cashew, pea, and oat milk, basically I do not care much for those milks, do however “LOVE” Silk Milk.

I watch my blood sugar, so I try to avoid foods with even a little bit of added sugar. A lot of soy milk brands have sugar in them, even the unflavored plain ones. When I found this totally unsweetened soy milk – no corn starch, no tapioca starch, no sugar – I gave it a try. Love it! It’s flavorful enough on its own, doesn’t taste like dust like other nut milks sometimes do without sugar, but I like to add a dash of my favorite monk fruit/stevia blend sweetener – which is zero calories, zero glycemic, and all natural btw – and maybe a dash of vanilla extract. And this soy milk is high protein, low carb with just a little fat. So it’s great for my wellness. It even makes a great coffee creamer, creaming my coffee and giving that soy creamer taste I love without added carbs or sugar. I’m never without it! Enjoy!

It is so hard to find unsweetened soy milk, so I am glad Silk still makes this product. Soy has the best nutrition profile and works well in coffee and tea. Plus is is delicious! I only wish it was more affordable

Due to a lactose intolerance, I haven’t been able to drink milk for many years. Since I’m on a low carb diet, the 1g net carb per glass is perfect for me! I love the taste since it tastes just like whole milk to my tastebuds. Silk Soy also works well making shakes using unsweetened cocoa powder, a packet of Nutrasweet, and a little guar gum to thicken it. I have tried the Silk unsweetened Almond milk, but the taste is not palatable.

Sometimes it’s good to have a choice. If you want soy milk without a lot of sugar, this is the one to buy. It’s crisp and refreshing.

Curious why Carrageenan, sea salt, and “natural flavors” have been added to the the Organic. The regular Soy ingredients are just soy. I’ve bought this milk a few times. One of the times it went bad quickly, which I’ve never seen Soy milk do previously.
