My sister had mentioned to me that buying silk milk on Amazon was actually cheaper than buying in stores. Now I just buy the big value box & we split it between us. Great price. I usually place on in the fridge after opening & store the rest in the cupboard & they don’t go bad & have a fairly good lasting shelf life. So I can’t recommend this enough.

I was running low, and Amazon was out of it my fav Silk, so this isn’t bad, just prefer the unsweetened vanilla. I honestly don’t notice the difference re sweetened or unsweetened and it’s half the calories.
I use this for my smoothies and coffee.
Oh, for a great iced coffee, Silk almond milk, a few ice cubes, Taster’s Choice Instant, and Hollander Caramel Sauce that I just recently discovered on Amazon. Sixty seconds or less in my mini blender and great for a sweet treat on a hot day!

Having to switch to a higher calcium diet, I discovered almond milk to be a huge plus. And since I it is shelf stable, ordering cartons of 6 quart size boxes, is very convenient – much more so than running to the grocery store frequently, and finding only 3 boxes on the shelf. It is usually on my doorstep within 2-3 days after ordering. The convenience is a plus also. The price too is the same as in the store.

It seems to me that the flavor is starting to lack. It looks more like cloudy water than milk. I won’t buy any more after I finish this case. It is just cheaper and easier than making my own. There are priceier brands that I will have to try.
Why the oridginal isn’t sold this way, I don’t know. The vanilla isn’t noticable enough that I cann’t use it in various applacations. I’m no longer happy with the product.

Silk Pure Almond Drink will last for seven weeks without refrighteration.. That is improtant when you get it through the mail. I am in a situation in a retired community which does not provide this particular product. Once it is refrigerated, it must continue to be. I purchase 6 containers of the product only 2 will fit in the door of my small refrigerator at a time store 2 containers at a time in door of my small refrigator at a time, the other 4 setting on the shelf in a nearby cabinet at room temperature. until needed, I had to stop drinking cow;s milk due to a health condition, and happily can drink the liquid almond. (See the ratting chart) Silk Pure Almond Drink is delicious!

I have been drinking almond milk for years, after realizing just how much more healthy it is than "regular" cow’s milk. The thought of the amount of unwanted hormones, puss and other chemicals found in most cow’s milk is enough to make me want to gag. Almond milk is delicious with a lot of nutritional value, no matter what brand you get it from. Almond milk can be used in just about any scenario where you would normally have cow’s milk, including most types of cooking you might want to do with it.
These milk cartons do not need to be refrigerated until you open them, which makes it very convenient to have them stored for months until you need it. You’ll never run out of milk again if you have a box of these stashed in your house.

Having to eschew cow milk, this is a good alternative. Tho it does not have the flavor & consistency of regular milk, it’s tasty without a loud flavor of almonds. The drawback is cooking with it. Oddly, things like Mac n cheese don’t come out exactly the same. But, considering the health benefits & environmental damage of cows, it’s acceptable tradeoff. Little is perfect.
