This is a yucky roast if not cooked low and slow with enough liquid.. 275 degrees in a Dutch oven for 3 hours for this 2 lb roast and it is properly tender. The fat cooks down and the band in the middle is actually delicious when cooked right. Complainers about “stringy or rubbery” didn’t cook it right. The price? Well it’s high. The times we live in.

Fresh cut of meat and tender and juicy!!!! Cut up potatoes carrots and fresh frozen sweetpeas and I add corn !!!

This was a great cut of meat.. I browned it and put it in the CrockPot for Beef Burgandy… Wow also Baby Bellas hold up really well with the recipe. I was very happy with this cut and I had to look everywhere for good chuck.

Like a box of chocolates you never know what you’re gonna get. I have ordered this lots of times because it is very tasty it is always different one time it will be perfect and the next time it has so much fat and gristle that you can’t eat it. But the vegetables that I make with it in the pot roast are so freaking delicious it’s still worth it to me.Definitely not center cut. But for what everyone else wants for me, and having it delivered, I still get it every time I place an order because it makes an awesome pot roast!

I cook this roast in a slow-cooker — Low, 4-5 hrs. — with Onion Soup mix, a few favored seasonings, and Beef broth as the liquid. Comes out moist and tender every time!

Amazon meats is one of my favorite products for meat. Always fresh. Packaging is easy to open and use and always a great quality. Never had moldy or expired meat. Definitely a great price and great value

I ordered two pieces, they arrived vacuum sealed. The first package I rushed to open and accidently cut into the absorbent padding underneath, so I rinsed off the red filling. I patted dry, seared in cast iron skillet and put in oven (no liquid needed) with seasoning and veggies, covered with foil. Typical of chuck roast, it was very marbled, which makes meat tender. Delicious! Definitely NOT for stewing.
