The product tastes pretty good and is a good value for fish jerky. However, the quality control is obviously poor – one of the bags I ordered had mold. Thankfully Amazon gave me a refund. As much as I liked the flavor of the non-moldy ones, I can’t trust this manufacturer and won’t be buying again.

It was well prepared and well packaged. But it had that ‘fishy’ smell to it and none of us could get past that.

Not complaining about the fishy taste (it’s fish!!!). Not even complaining about the price (I knew that when I made the purchase). But the jerky morsels were smaller, harder in texture, and saltier than I would have preferred. If you’re craving Neptune jerky, try the Sea Salt and Juniper, which is rockfish rather than this pollack . . . it’s better.

The seasonings on these were perfect. Not to much, not too little. The jerky tastes mildly of fish, but it isn’t too bad (and it is fish, so it should be expected), but I suggest if you open the bag, eat it within a day or so. I tried it, sealed it back up and put in the fridge, and unfortunately every day over the course of the week the taste and smell of fish became stronger and stronger. Also, the back of the package has a “Find My Fish” code which I tried to use online. As an Alaskan who likes fish I was excited to see if the rockfish came from anywhere near me. Unfortunately, the codes on the packages all came up as not available or as codes that don’t exist. Sort of was a let down and also made me wonder why? Is the fish really wild caught and processed/tracked well or is it just a gimmick? Wasn’t bad, but prob won’t purchase again.

Good protein source. US product, small business, great product. I enjoy the sweet citrus ginger flavor. Very mild. Going to try the Cajun flavor.

I’ve tried a lot of fish jerkies and loved them. Thought I’d try another brand and I don’t think I’ll do these again.
4 flavors with 2 different kinds of fish. The spicy one was actually pretty good, everyone in the house was okay with it in small quantities. The others ended up going in the trash because all 4 of us couldn’t get past the weird texture and taste.
All the flavors were dusty crumbles, some were pretty dang tough, too.

I’d buy these again. They are an acquired taste, but I like them. Great for protein in the go.

I wasn’t sure what to expect because I’d never had fish jerky before. Most of the meat I consume is seafood because I’m trying to be healthier and it’s relatively inexpensive as well which is a plus. As such I decided to give this a shot as an alternative snack for my workplace. The cajun stuff is pretty good, mild burn to it, I like spicy food so that’s good but if you’re very sensitive to heat you may not enjoy it. The other flavors are also pretty good. Overall I will say I prefer fresh fillets and even stuff out of tins but this isn’t bad at all.

The only thing that I disliked is that when it’s gone, it’s gone. Fish jerky have many different textures, but this one is easy to chew and holds together well within the bag. I searched through many different jerkies, and am satisfied with this cost and quality.
