I can easily eat the contents of one can, this was my repeat order. Tastes delicious, like pate foie gras, and it’s good for you.

I never had cod liver before and found it a delicious treat to eat with baguette and to dip the bread in the oil to sop it all up! I discovered it’s especially great when served on my wholemeal rye bars —–🌾rye wholemeal bars🌾—- 250g whole rye flour, 250g whole spelt flour, 1tsp each thyme, oregano, sage, coriander seed powder, dried basil, 2tsp salt, 2tsp baking powder, 4tbsp olive oil, 350ml of warm water —–bake—– mix, rest 20mins, preheat to 400F, bake 20 minutes, 10min cooldown. Slice in half through the middle, as a sandwich roll is. Serve cod liver on one side while it’s still hot and toasty. omg omg omg. 😍🤌🏼 nom nom nom. I promise you will love

My elderly mom has been having a hankering for cod livers so to the Amazon.com I went to procure some. They showed up the next day. I don’t do cod liver, but mom reports they are delicious. She keeps reaching for these every couple of days. Eats them with buttered rye toast. We are on our 2nd 12 pack. This is one of the rare things my mom doesn’t complain about & doesn’t declare she isn’t eating them any more after we have amassed a sizable emergency stash. She is hooked, and I’m relieved because eating is generally not something she looks forward to anymore and it’s my job to make sure she eats, so I more than appreciate these fragrant (so fragrant) delicacies. So even though I have not eaten them I can tell you they are well packed & made my sick mom very, very happy.
Note: if you have a sensitive or pregnant person around, please be kind and eat these in a well ventilated area and empty the trash can immediately after. Mom says the smell is a feature, not a bug, because it keeps the haters away.

I bought mine in late 2022 and put off opening my first can for MONTHS. I got them only for the sake of trying them because they are known to be very good for you. When I finally tried my first can I was shocked: they’re soft, delicious, mild… They remind me of pate’… They are a regular purchase now, just through local sources where I live and not via Amazon. If you’re hesitant to buy: don’t be. This brand is HIGH quality and you will probably enjoy if you like a mild, rich flavor.

Add to any egg or meat dish. Unlike the cod liver pills, no bad taste. Pure fat, great for Keto and for breaking a fast.

After reading health benefits of liver/cod liver I thought I’d try it. I didn’t expect it to taste like tuna. Texture is different and there is a lot of oil but, it’s supposed to be good for you right? For me, on a Ketovore diet it’s a tasty treat and helps get me the amount of fat I’m looking for.

Have a dislike for liver. Need it for health and nutrition. Was very pleasantly surprised how mild the taste is. A suggestion was made to mix up the livers with mustard and use it as a condiment. Great idea, and I like it. Still not crazy about liver, but this brand works for me.

I buy these as gifts and they absolutely love them. Kinda pricey for what these things are, but I guess most people in the states don’t get the hype.

I bought these knowing that I was going to get a boost in nutrition. I was shocked when I took my first bite and enjoyed the surprisingly mild flavor of the cod livers! Especially since I’ve bought dozens of premium grass fed beef livers trying to get that boost of nutrition into my daughter’s and my own diet. Even mixing a ration of as little as 3 ounces of beef liver to a pound of ground beef couldn’t hide the awful taste of the liver and adding ketchup and various dipping sauces still didn’t make it any better. But cod livers are mild and yummy! The first bite I thought it tasted like a sardine, but way more mild. The second bite I thought the same, but I was getting a hint of something else familiar, a type of seafood I’d had in the distant past, alas I remembered it was the mussel! By the third bite, I even think I was enjoying a faint hint of tuna. So there you have it, a cross between sardines, mussels and tuna. I did watch a video on YouTube of someone eating cod livers for the first time before I ordered these just to make sure I wasn’t going to need to be near a toilet after the first bite. Bon appetit!
