I thought I was getting 12 pounds (less packaging) of sausage for a total of $187.25 including shipping. I was looking forward to the fresh sausage in March, but instead received a substitution of cured sausage. In three months I received less than 5 pounds of sausage. I contacted Fortunas and was pleasantly surprised by their offer of sending me their fresh sausage at no extra cost to me. The idea of monthly deliveries of special deli products is great. The product – we enjoyed every bite especially knowing it was nitrite free. Dealing with Fortuna directly = 5 stars!
