The last several Kumato tomatoes I have purchased, over the past several months, have not been good. The package I received today tastes as if the tomatoes were picked too soon; basically no flavor and sour; the skins are tough, and the tomatoes are small, super firm, not much bigger than a golf ball. Prior to that, I received over ripe tomatoes, spoiled and squishy. Prior to that, maybe 5-6 months ago, I received the best tasting, store-bought tomatoes ever! Tasted home-grown. This used to be a great product, used to be my favorite tomatoes, however, I will no longer purchase. Too many bad ones. The packaging has changed too from the photo. Comes in a plastic clamshell type of clear box; tomatoes were larger when packaged in the long, narrow box. They tasted better too. One new concern I have is that these tomatoes are imported from Canada. I love Canada, but prefer to support local farmers. Would love to see these tomatoes locally sourced.

Well, when you send the perishable item without any thermal insulation and cooling by the slowest postal service possible what happens? The tomatoes arrived in one week in a condition of a rotten mash.

I love this variety of tomato! Sweet and so full of flavor!
