Arrived in a damaged retaped box via ups with one missing and five smashed . Ate one of the remaining fruit and it was stringy and tastless. will not buy again.

I don’t think I can really blame the company. They shipped it in a chilled package to prevent spoilage and each avocado was cushioned with sawdust. However, we live where the temperature is typically below zero this time of year. The avocadoes were all frozen when delivered and could not be eaten when thawed out. This same company previously sent us avocadoes in the same packaging when it was warmer and my wife found them delicious. I still gave them 5 stars for such a big attempt to package their product so well. They just did not realize that the upper peninsula of Michigan ranges from -30 to 0 F this time of year. The shipper does not do anything to keep their packages from freezing. I will order again in March or April when we are having more moderate weather. The packaging should have been with warm packs instead of the cold packs they used.

Good deal compared to what they are currently priced at my local grocery. These came fast, ripened perfectly, didn’t lose any to spoilage. Fresh, good quality and good sized.

After three weeks in shipment the avocados wear bruised and over ripe. Un-edible.

These came exactly as I was hoping…..rock hard which allowed me to “time” the ripening process – speeding up or slowing down. Some were for avocado toast but most were just cut and eaten plain with saltines (childhood comfort food). Every one was PERFECT 🙂
