I have never used fresh curry leaves before, or even dried curry leaves, so I can’t compare them to other curry leaves. But they arrived fresh and green and fragrant and I am enjoying using them in recipes from Madhur Jaffrey’s “World Vegetarian” cookbook.

So the curry leaves arrived and upon opening the package, the leaves were wet, and smelly and not fresh at all. I attempted to dry out the leaves, but no luck, so in the trash they went. I’ll stay with the dried leaves and not bother anymore.

I was thrilled to find organic fresh curry leaves. They arrived ahead of schedule. Each leaf is perfect, even though they were shipped USPS in very hot weather. The smell is heavenly. I haven’t cooked with them yet, but they are obviously fresh and high quality.
