Out of the 3 lbs of guavas I received, most were either already spoiled or way too ripe. Only 6 were in good shape. What a waste of money!

I love guavas so I was willing to pay the high price to get them. They are impossible to find where I live. I was excited when I saw them on Amazon. I was very disappointed when I received these. The guavas were overly ripe so most of them went bad within a day or two. I had to throw out half of the box. They need to be sold green so they can last by the time the customer receives them.

These were terrible!! They never ripened for about two weeks, they stayed green. When a few of them did ripe (very small portion of the few ripened), it did not ripe good. Overall, I was very disappointed! I had to throw them all away, I didn’t even get to enjoy one of them. It was a waste of my money, it was just like i gave them the money..just to throw my money away. There was mixed reviews on this, and obviously the few positive reviews…have to be the company writing their own reviews, or have their friends writing a positive review…since, the rest of us were very disappointed with this. I guess, It’s best to just buy them in the frozen section as pulp, because trying to get these fresh you take a big chance of just throwing your money away, and getting a horrible product.

My husband peeled, he’s eaten them all his life, I dug seeds and cut into little pieces and froze them, will get 5 Guava cobblers. We both tasted and they were wonderful, they just missed the dough and ice cream. I know this is the end of the season and I’m going to get some of the seeds and see if I can get a plant to grow, can you give me any advise on how to start from those little seeds. If I got some going I figured I could share with other friends and family in FL. My family is in MN and its too cold for them. These are great

We received these in 2 days, much shorter than the estimated time. That was awesome! The box had a hole in it, torn, but the fruit managed to be fine. It tastes great so far. We have eaten about 1/2 of them. Its almost impossible to find guava anywhere, so we were glad to see it on Amazon, but a little concerned because of the price. I can tell you we received 12 small fruits in our box. they were individually wrapped too. They were fresh and tasted great.
These are supposed to be super healthy for you, which was why we ordered in the first place. Hopefully, we got a burst of anti oxidants, as well as other good vitamins! Thanks!

What you see in the image is not what we received. I know the guavas from Mexico and Central America. What I received is some sort of the lowest quality hybrid with the worst and most insipid teste you can imagine. The “guavas” went from hard green to rotting in three days, no aroma, nothing. Do no waste your money. The images were taken with a LED light for you to appreciate the real colors. It is a pity we cannot give a negative rating

These came very un ripe…which I thought was good because then we could get through them all. Two weeks later they were still not right, but had a horrid smell about them. We ate a few even though they have not gotten dark pink yet, thinking maybe that was the best they were going to get. They tasted horrible. Then a few of them began to develop dark spots and mold, but they never did get dark pink. Very disappointing.

I received my order a week before expected. There were 12 dark green fruit in 3lbs. I’d never eaten guava before.I waited a few days and they started turning a paler shade of greenish yellow. They did not get soft at all. I tried them when the dark green was gone and they were sweet, acidic and tart – all of which I like. To me they taste like strawberry and lemon. The most ripe ones had the darkest pink inside. I enjoyed them skin and all. The seeds were sort of a shock because they are tiny but extremely hard so if your teeth tend to chip easily you may want to scoop out the part with seeds. 4 stars on value because they are a bit pricey.

Arrived green and the first one that I opened wasn’t ripe inside. So, I allowed them to sit for several days. The outer skin began to get rotted spots and was bumpy but the inside of the fruit was pink and tasty. They were creamy and a little juicy. First time for me having fresh guava, so I assume this was good!!!

I ordered some of these earlier in the year before the pandemic took off and I was very satisfied with them. They were all delicious. Pink guava is my favourite fruit in the whole world but it is virtually impossible to find where I live. I would order this pink guava probably every week if the price was half as much but because of the price I have only ordered it once (and since then the price has only gone up further). Shame.
