In bold letters the package says “NO SUGAR ADDED,” but the photographs of the product do not show the nutrition facts label. In reality, a serving size of 28g contains 18.5 grams of sugar! In contrast, the cranberries I usually order from Aurora Farms contains only 2 grams of sugar per 40g serving! Maybe Herbaila didn’t add any processed sugar to their cranberries, but they are nonetheless full of sugars — and there is no way to know this when you purchase the product because, as I said, they do not provide a picture of the nutrition facts label. They make a big deal about No Sugar Added, yet hide their cranberries contain, by my estimate 13 times the amount of sugar in the Aurora Farms cranberries. I’m not sure where all this sugar is coming from, or why Aurora Farm’s product has such little sugar. Both products advertise No Sugar Added. Aurora’s product is more expensive, but I don’t want the sugar. My beef with Herbaila is that they do not honestly show the labelling information in the photos, so you think you’re getting a low-sugar product.

These are even better than the name brand sweetened cranberries that I buy in the grocery store! Moist, not dry, and absolutely delicious!

The cranberries are nice and soft, and certainly sweet enough for me. I don’t know why you would ever add sugar to dried cranberries.

For me this is a great product. That said, the berries come clumped somewhat and some time must be spent separating them.
Mark Emdee –
Best value for nothing but cranberries.

A large bag of naturally dried unsweetened cranberries ? Yes! And they are naturally sweet.

Do cranberries really have this much natural sugar? Hard to believe really. Just as sweet as those conventional big name brand dried sweetened cranberries, which are too sweet.
