Six locally grown avocados, hand picked by personal food shoppers in farmers markets. They’re delicious spread on sandwiches or toast, made into homemade guacamole, added to salads, or diced and eaten straight out of the ?boat? with a sprinkling of locally sourced lime juice. Avocados are a great source of healthy fats, which help the body to absorb the fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E and K.) They?re also a good source of potassium, vitamin C, vitamin B6, and dietary fiber.

Only once did the alvacados arrive completely ripe. All others arrive green so they could be eaten one at a time. Also receive more than six each time.

Four of the twelve avocados we received were so over-ripe they had dents in them. I tried to salvage what I could, but it was very little. Some of the other avocados were both too hard AND starting to go brown inside. Overall, the quality was significantly lower to what you’d get if you chose your own avocados at any store. I won’t be ordering online again unless that is literally the only way to find an avocado.

There is nothing like FRESH Avocado, I’ve 2 trees, trying to make my own – but until they get their act together, I will continue buying these. Once they get soft, put them in the refrigerator….they taste better cold imo anyway.

Avocados were ripe they were perfect to make guacamole. Had to used up right away.
Could have arrived a little firmer. All in all great flavor, great color, not black inside, will order again, size was okay could be a little larger for price. Order with confidence.

They arrived completely unripe and never have ripened. Nevertheless, several were already rotted and others badly banged up. I have ordered avocadoes from a different provider in California and never had these problems. Generally what arrives are a group of fruit at different states of ripeness which is reasonable.

Tried many companies over many years I live in Maine and the supermarket only sells imported avocados. Tried other ones on the internet, but I can tell you that these avocados are agood choice.

I received a 6pk. of local avocado’s from the Polar Bear Store and I am pleased to give excellent feedback for this order. I used them for sandwiches and enjoyed each one. I will order them again.
