It cannot be called Taro Root. After being cooked, it is hard like a stone. It is not a good quality product.

I didn’t buy mine to eat, but to enjoy the plants that look like pretty elephant ears. I’ve got them everywhere!! 2-3 ft tall and very pretty. Part sun seems to suit them best. I planted one in full sun, 10 hours, but full Texas sun is too much, so I’m moving it today! Maybe I’ll learn to cook them later. ‘Gonna buy ten more lbs, there were about 25 bulbs in my first box, just right for planting. it’s hard to tell them from elephant ears, I assume I can dig them up and store them after the first heavy frost. I just an ordinary Caucasian Texas native and don’t know anyone (yet) who knows how to cook them. But come fall I’ll be enjoying some!

Keep a long time and good for potatoe substitute and poi.

Wonderful! Tastes delicious! " This is my secret to staying young." This Japanese sweet taro contains a high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid, which is a necessary component in cell regeneration. This plant is often referred to as "nature’s odd fountain of youth" due to its high HA content. I have zero complaints and will order again!

Much better than I expected, every one of them is clean and perfectly formed, just right size for me. They taste good, fresh, nutty, creamy, with a hint of sweetness. Shipping took about 1.5 week (10LB), carefully packaged. I am very satisfied with the purchase and the seller who responded to my question promptly.

I was very pleased with these taro roots. They were firm and good sized. They were described as small but I thought they were medium at least.
RICK –
1. these taro roots are not small most are as big as medium to large potatoes
2. 7 are rotted with white mold
3. most of the other bulbs are dry rotted
4. out of 10 lbs ordered , i ended up with maybe 3 lbs
will never order these ever again , what a rip off
