I love this product. I am Type 2 Diabetic and Dates are recommended to help control sugars in the blood stream, despite they are sweet. Of course, it is not in my case and I would say in any case to take all what you want per day. I take 3-4, depending on the consumption of other carbs I have consumed during the day and how active I have been. Every Type 2 Diabetic person should consult your physician if necessary, but also, we know what to do to keep our A1C in good shape. Mine is 5.8 with knowledge of my eating habits and diet, exercise or activity and medication. I am not a doctor.
But this particular Dates have been a blessing to me, because of the benefits they bring to my health while the taste and consistency in quality are excellent.
I have been buying them for the last 6 months. They don’t last much because my husband, although he is not diabetic, is a fan of them too. You can take them as a dessert with low carb unsweetened cookies, like the Club Saltines, with cheese, unsweetened ice cream, make your own creation or just alone as a snack. It is generally known, and I have experienced that, they are excellent for your digestive and bowel movement system, avoiding constipation without any discomfort too.
I have tried others in the past that can’t compare to these ones, in the consistency of quality, flavor and freshness. Once you open the package, you must refrigerate. Even cold, they taste wonderful. But if you want them softer take some out of the package 15 to 30 minute out of the refrigerator so that they take the room temperature. They will taste as fresh as if you just received them. I recommend these Dates 100%!

You think OTHER brands and types are the best? My mom did too until I bought these and said I was going to throw them away if she didn’t try one–ha! No old person can watch that happen. Now they are her favorite, as they are mine. All you have to do is eat one to believe.

You might expect a big bag of pitted dates like this to be all mashed together. Sometimes it happens. And all dried out. Nope. These are very slightly drier than really fresh which is pretty amazing and they are also not all mashed together. I give five stars for perfection and four is pretty darn good.

I am a food prepper and make smoothies for breakfast before work. I cut up lots of fruits and veggies and bag up in the freezer for the week. I use dates to help sweeten them, they have a nice rich flavor and are loaded with fiber and vitamins. These are great because they are already pitted. I recommend you keep them in the fridge because they get sticky when warm. I do like that they do not have whatever powder they put on the chopped date packages…that powder tastes weird and make smoothies really gummy.

The come in a reseal bag, the taste is good, not to dry, nice color and size. These are deglet nour dates from Algeria. Dates are tasty and nutricious i consume two daily, for health.
