Yes, it can tingle my gums ON RARE occasion. Seems like this happens when I use an alcohol based mouth wash. However, I push through it. The results are worth it. I have breath and stain issues and this toothpaste is the ONLY toothpaste that helps. Every product affects people differently. Just because it isn’t a good fit for one person doesn’t mean the product formula should change or not be tried. Colgate offers other formulas that are gentler. This is a POWERFUL toothpaste that I am very, very thankful for. It works like no other toothpaste to make my breath fresh. I brush my tongue and my teeth and use a tongue scrapper. So happy with this stain prevention formula.

I have been using this and mouthwash together for about a week. I can tell a difference already. My teeth feel so much cleaner and look shinier. The taste is alright for a whitening toothpaste. It seems to be doing a good job and I hope to see even greater results the longer I use it. I would recommend this product. 9/10

This toothpaste works great. I’ve noticed my teeth becoming whiter and less stained. It’s not going to make them gleam like they show on the commercials, but it still is working. I like having the two bottles so that I won’t run out quickly.

The whole two pack thing is really a joke because you’re actually receiving two half empty tubes, Colgate could dramatically cut back on plastic and packaging waste by simply filling one tube all the way, it’s just deceptive marketing nonsense.. BUT I do see good results very quickly when using this product

I very rarely write reviews, but this is one product I feel which warrants one. My teeth have always been a few shades more yellow than I like, and when I went to the dentist for my cleaning, I asked about professional whitening services. It was expensive, but I am happy to pay for the results. Before going this route, I wanted to try a few at home options. I researched whitening toothpaste only to discover 95% of them are bogus and at best produce minimal results. In order to truly whiten teeth, you must have a bleaching agent, such as hydrogen peroxide. Baking soda, purple toothpaste or charcoal will not work. I wanted to tackle this head on, so I decided to use this toothpaste because it has the highest concentration of hydrogen peroxide in an over the counter toothpaste. I also used this in conjunction with the Optic White peroxide mouthwash and Optic White toothbrush. After 3 weeks, I noticed my teeth were a LOT brighter. After two months, they are even brighter.
Final thoughts:
This toothpaste will def brighten your smile if you use it correctly and give it time. I also recommend using it in conjunction with a mouthwash which has hydrogen peroxide for optimal results. If you are expecting to have a Hollywood white smile, you will be disappointed. Your only option is veneers or professional whitening services at a dentist.

There is a lower strength version of this same product yet looks almost exactly the same so make sure you get this one. Taste is great and there is some degree of noticeable whitening after even a few applications. If you have any sensitivity to hydrogen peroxide test a small amount to see your level of discomfort.

I’ve been using Colgate Optic White Pro Series Whitening Toothpaste for 8 months, it does whiten your teeth compared to non-whitening toothpaste. The flavor and cleaning action can be a little strong, otherwise it works great for a coffee drinker.
