RE: Dr. Scholl’s Hard And Dead Skin Remover Nano Glass Foot File And Callus Remover
I don’t know what “Nano Glass” is or who invented it, but they need to be celebrated all over the world! I just got this, immediately opened & started using it, because the dryness & callouses on my heels were beyond ridiculous (I am in bare feet a lot of the time)
When I say immediate relief, I mean it. If you’re a person that knows of the icky “nails on chalkboard” level feeling of microfiber (‘catchy’) cloth, that’s a small idea of how these flaky, dry heels were making me feel.
When I saw this I thought, “Here’s yet another tool that won’t work,” yet, desperate enough to try. I yanked that sucker out of the box and started filing. Obviously there’s a way to go, but the immediate relief was wonderful.
NO other items has done that! I’ve tried
every imaginable heel/foot cream (with every new ingredient you “must have in order for it to work”), kept on with cream socks, etc
Amope Pro (works to an extent over time, but this thing has more immediate relief)
metal “grater” files (nope)
every other imaginable file
I also love the thoughtfulness of the ergonomics/shape of this file.
File, rinse foot & tool, hang tool to dry. REPEAT as much as needed
THANK you for this & don’t ever stop making it, PLEASE.

I have had dry heals too long during this winter time, and I had recently thrown out the old pumice stone that I’d previously used to rough away the dry skin (but that still left rough skin areas, and where I may have tried a little too hard to remove the dry skin, it got down to my raw skin, which was as bad as having dry skin, but definitely a feeling of sore and raw a little). Well, with this cool new tool, even though the nano-GLASS had me sorta nervous, however it is made up, it is very subtle points of any sort of “rough” surface on the tool that actually surprised me once I tried it for the first time. My feet haven’t felt this smooth since…….I don’t recall, really. Seriously, no issue with rubbing my skin down to “raw”. It just simply helped remove the rough dry skin after a few minutes of going over each foot (couple or few minutes). I am more than happy. I feel no grabby skin edges on my socks or sheets anymore, and I keep feeling my feet now just to reassure myself that I’m not mistaken on how good a job this thing did.
I can whole-heartedly recommend it. In fact, not more than an hour or so after using it for the first time, I told my parents about it in case they would like something like this too. They were impressed that I went out of my way to let them know, but my mom uses epsom salts to soak her feet anyway, and they both use lotion on them too…so they claim their feet are soft already.

This is hands down the best foot file ever at such a great price, too. It’s very gentle and easy to use on your skin. Just lightly rub back and forth or in one direction. You can actually see the thin layer of skin sloughing off. It’s very gentle but effective. I just use it (dry) once every few weeks. Or just before I give myself a pedi. It will make your heels baby-soft. Make sure to apply lotion or vaseline petroleum jelly afterward after using.
I don’t really get super dry cracked heels, but if you do, using this every few weeks will help. After a few uses your heels should look normal again. Just don’t overdo it. Some foot files are very rough and your skin can feel very sensitive if you use it too much–not this one. It removed a callus that I have had for years. Calluses are there to protect your skin from rubbing, this tool gently removed mine after few uses. My skin never feels raw or over-sensitive each time–just smoother.
For added benefit, at night I apply:
Dr Scholl’s Cracked Heel Repair Balm 2.5oz, with 25% Urea for Dry Cracked Feet, Heals and Moisturizes for Healthy Feet–on my heels
and some vaseline petroleum jelly all over my feet (and hands)
then I wear
ZenToes Moisturizing Fuzzy Sleep Socks
while I sleep. The next day your feet will feel baby soft.

This is a wonderful file. I have bought others and they were a bit of a joke. You really do have to do it outside or over a sink though because a ton of fine skin comes off. I do it maybe once a week now after my shower when my skin is the most pliable. Now I don’t have to pay like an extra $10 with my pedicure PLUS this works much better. Very easy to clean. Just wash it under the faucet, tap to get off the water, and it’s done. (Full disclosure: I bought it with the Dr. Scholl’s heel balm. So I can’t say if they worked in conjunction with each other or if this Dr. Scholl’s skin remover and foot file would have worked on it’s own. Whatever it was, it is a total winner.) I am so happy. At age 70, I finally figured this out.

I used ut immediately and it has smoothed my extremely dry skin at the bottom of my foot.
It gentle and firm…you don’t have to worry about cutting your feet.
It looked like a lot if sawdust when I was done.
The only downside is that it should have a container to catch the dead skin

This thing is the best thing my feet have had in forever. I’ve done foot peels, pedis, “grater” types of foot scrapers, and numerous lotions and creams. After a week of using this, my feet are softer and smoother than they have been in YEARS. I can’t speak to how long it lasts, but at this price, if I have to buy one every few months, I will. Thinking of gifting it to people because it’s that good. It feels good in your hand. Works so well. Just rub your feet after your shower and you’ll see serious results. Where has this thing been all my adult life??

This is an awesome tool for keeping rough skin in check. Although it seems very gentle to the touch when you first take it out of the package, this thing is stronger than it looks. It is gentle but works surprisingly well. Not at all painful to use and gets the job done. it was gentle enough to use on the skin around my finger tips and cuticles but also works on my rough feet. I’m very happy that it can be washed and is supposed to have a life time use. With this being from Dr. Scholl’s, I believe it will last forever.

I have never written a review before but felt compelled to. After the first use my feet looked better than any pedicure has ever made them look. This product is amazing. Easy to use, easy to clean, and for the price it’s a must have! TEN stars

This has not disappointed me. I haven’t had it long to comment on the longevity but so far so am pleased with how it works. It leaves your feet, even the rough parts feeling smooth after use. It causes no irritation, sensitivity or damage as far as I can tell. It was a good purchase. Not obnoxiously bit so a great size for my size (size 9)

One of the best out there. It is able to scrub off all the extra “material” from the feet and it leaves the skin nice n’ smooth.
