I had my doubts about this, but this is what I was looking for. I did not realize this had existed and was skeptical if it would work. Through my poly gel journey, I was struggling to get the rest of the polish off without damaging my nails and found this product. It was just what I needed so I didn’t damage them by filing too far. I can take off most of the poly gel with a file and then use the gel remover to get rid of the remaining gel. I may have to do two different applications but it is perfect and works great.

This remover is easy to use and faster than others I’ve tried. Simply use a nail file to break the surface of the polish (I recommend doing the entire nail bed), brush this on and wait about 4-5 minutes. Scrap off loose polish. Generally, i have to do two applications to get everything off. If you have nail tips and don’t want to lose them then don’t leave it for too long or else they will become very soft and come right off. I added photos for reference.

I had on 2 layers of top coat and 2-3 layers of color. From start to finish about 30 minutes to do one hand. The instructions said to let it sit for 5-6 minutes but I saw it peeling off and couldn’t resist removing it. It does tingle a bit like the box says but it didn’t hurt. I used my tool to scrap it off. It did take 2 applications but, again, I had on several layers of nail polish. So far I like it. It takes more time than the drill though. I’ll try it for awhile and see the overall health of my nails with this vs the drill. I’ll try and do an update later.

I do my own acrylic powder-dip nail polish at home and bought this to try and see if it worked better than using a cotton ball soaked in polish remover wrapped in aluminum foil. It does work, but I have to leave it on my nails longer than I thought I would. Will probably by again if I don’t find a product that is faster.

I used this for the first time and I was really impressed with how well it worked. Where I had applied it thicker it literally peeled up on its own without even having to scrape it off. I let it set for about 10 minutes but you could see it coming off well before then. I made sure not to get any on my skin so I didn’t have any problems there. (I have extremely sensitive skin) I could feel a bit of cool tingling on my nails but no pain. Highly recommend for taking off gel nails.

Getting gel polish off at home is finally easy! I used it on my toes first — no tingle, and only one coat was needed. But I did leave it on for about 15 mins. Once the polish loosened, I gently scraped it off my nails with the same manicure tool I use to push down my cuticles. I had more layers of polish on my fingernails, so they needed two thick coats of the product, and this time, I did feel the tingling. But it worked great and I couldn’t be more pleased. I am so glad I didn’t have to soak my fingers in acetone, or go back to the nail salon, just to get the gel polish removed. I love this stuff, and will be ordering more! I wish I had bought the 2-pack, because it does seem like I used half of this little bottle on this one mani/pedi – but it’s worth it!

Oh here we go again. Doesn’t happen very often, but yet here we are again posting a well deserved 5 star review.
This stuff WORKS! Why am I emphasizing on the word “works”? Simply because others don’t WORK. I’ve been wearing gel for 10+ years and do my nails every 10 days. So I take OFF the gel 3 times a month…some might think it’s aggressive or too much, but we’re not here to judge my mani habits 🙂 We are here to sing odes to this little thing that makes it effortless and kinda fun. A bit creepy when the gel starts bubbling up but also exciting lol When I say it works,I mean 7 min for BOTH hands and it’s OFF. You don’t need to file afterwards, the gel comes off so easily it’s like peeling oranges! And might I say,I wear bright colors MOST of the time,so the product works exceptionally well with very pigmented and concentrated colors such as red and burgundy. I WILL warn you that if it does get on skin and interacts with water it will burn the heck out of you. NOT 3rd degree burn, but you’ll feel it believe me. So when you’re taking your gel off and you’re done, whipe your hands first with a paper towel and only then wash them. Now,the usage of the product is NOT the best, but yet again-I use it a LOT and the heavier the color is,the more coats of it you’ll end up putting on. For a dark red,I would put 2 to 3 coats on and let it sin anywhere from 5-7 minutes. Your nails WILL curl,it’s normal so DON’T panic, once the product is off,it goes back to normal. But the true reason I love it so much because it absolutely does NOT traumatize the nail surface. Your nails do not end up being scratched or dented and super thin, they are in such great condition that in fact you can put a clear coat on them right after your took your red off and they look fabulous. Pictures attached for reference. Happy nail day girls 🙂

This was my first time removing shellac from my nails on my own, every other time I’ve been at the salon, but it’s been getting pricey and after a few months of consistently having shellac on my nails, they’re getting pretty thin. I wanted to just take it all off (it was badly chipped after just a couple days even) and let my nails breathe and heal for a while.
I’m not sure what this stuff is supposed to be like, I pictured it would be more of a liquid but at least in my tube it was more gritty like a paste. I put it on all of my nails and waited a little more than 6 minutes, then used an acne popper tool to scrape it off like they do at the salon. It was kind of cool that I could little HEAR the chemicals reacting and bubbling up. I imagine this works way better with smooth gel polish rather than glittery, gritty shellac. It came off most of the way for most of my nails but I needed to do a second round for cleaning up the edges and tips on about 5 of them. It took the bulk of the shellac off but didn’t do as much for the color, of course I had to be working with red which arguably would be the hardest.
I strongly recommend that if you use this product, have a tool ready for scraping the bulk off, patience is key, and try using a biotin nail healing aid on your nails after. Getting them buffed out to get the shellac/gel to stick in the first place isn’t great and you’ll gain your healthy nails back a lot easier.

First and foremost, yes, this stuff works but you have to file your top coats first which still causes damage to your natural nail so your nails will get thin and bendy which I feel this product is intended to avoid that problem but its still going to happen. I’m overall happy with the product but the design of the bottle makes it problematic getting the last of the liquid out because it’s not runny, it’s more like a sandy gel and it sticks to the sides and corners of the bottle so I feel a lot is wasted in the end because you can’t get it out.
