I really like that the product is eco-frienly. Is fine for one use as the paper is think.
It didn’t absorb much, so I got to use couple of them.

I purchased these paper towels due to a lack of availability in my local grocery stores. I was only finding the crappy single rolls and kept running out. I decided to look on Amazon and was shocked by the prices for name brand. I normally buy Aldi brand paper towels (the 8 roll with green label) and find that while they’re not super strong or plush they get the job done. These paper towels were the most affordable I found with a reasonable shipping time which is why I ended up picking them. I was nervous that they’d be awful after reading some of the reviews. They turned out to be pretty good, if you don’t have really high expectations for paper towels, as some other reviewers appear to. They are maybe not quite as strong as the Aldi brand ones I normally buy but seeing as they’re made from recycled paper I feel like that’s to be expected. We use them as napkins and to wipe spills and have no issues, they’re just a little thin so you use a little more. Overall these are not bad for the money, but if your normally loyal to Brawny and Bounty these will probably disappoint.

These are great paper towels. I was previously using the Honest Company paper towels, but they are pricey. I found these on Amazon and wanted to try them out. It is a good price for the amount of paper towels you receive. They are easy to tear. I’ve used them on countertops and they hold up well if you are scrubbing (they are durable and don’t crumble or fall apart). I’ve used them on mirrors as well and they don’t leave behind lint which is a great plus. I brought a roll into my office to keep at my desk for using as napkins when I have my lunch. I love them! The best part about these paper towels is that they are environmentally friendly. No trees were torn down to make this product. Plus Marcal doesn’t test their products on animals, and that’s something that is very important to me, no matter what it is I’m purchasing. The only thing I wish they wold do, is not have these individually wrapped in plastic. I do feel like it counters the claim of them being environmentally friendly. I just toss the plastic wrap in the recycling bin, but it would be great if they came enclosed in one big plastic wrap instead of several. Other then that, no complaints. I love them, the price is right, and I will definitely be buying them again.

They are thin and tear up easily. Buy them if you need a low price but they are thin and nothing like Scott or bounty

I saw this item had several bad reviews but I took a chance on them anyway. They are exactly as described: 15 rolls, 60 sheets each. They are definitely not Bounty strong but I really wasn’t expecting them to be. And no, they didn’t disintegrate to pieces. If you have that much dirt to scrub, you might want to use a dish towel. Overall, for about $1 each, I was happy with them.

I’m a newbie to Marcal and very happy.
First off, these are NOT your uber-sturdy, obscenely-plush, quilted mega PT rolls. For that kind of fancy or expectations go back to Bounty or use a trusty kitchen rag.
Marcal’s is your BASIC kind of PT. It tears well. It does a decent job at drying spills. It doubles as napkins.
As others have already pointed out, this company has a set of values rarely found in other so called “American” companies which have a hard time walking the environmentally-friendly, cruelty-free, U.S-made products talk.
In addition to this, Amazon does offer quite a deal for the bulk of 15 individually-wrapped rolls. Can’t beat that. I sure will be coming back to purchase more.

These are the best recycled paper towels I’ve used. Let’s be honest — are they as absorbent as the forest-destroying paper towels I used to use? No. Are they absorbent enough? Yes. These are fine paper towels and we’ll continue to buy and recommend them. The same goes for the Marcal TP. Marcal Small Steps 100% Premium Recycled 2-Ply Embossed Toilet Tissue, 48 Rolls/Carton (6079)
Here are my five reasons I first bought the paper towels, will continue to buy them, and recommend them:
1) They’re recycled. They’re not as plush and not quite as absorbent as non-recycled towels, but you’re not killing trees & adding harm to the environment when you buy these. I’ll gladly forsake a little plushness & absorbency for those reasons.
2) Marcal products are made in the U.S.A.
3) Marcal is a union shop.
4) Marcal is animal friendly — no animal testing.
and
5) Marcal isn’t owned by the Koch brothers.
I also recommend their other recycled paper products — this home is now a Marcal home.
I’ve seen all of the comments about tearing the paper towels and problems with the perforations. I’ve developed a foolproof technique for myself. I use a paper towel holder that stands on the counter — I’m in a wheelchair and it’s easier for me to reach. I hold the roll and grasp the paper towel in the center of the towel. I then give it a swift yank and it comes away cleanly and easily every time. I do the same if I want more — I just fold or crumple the extra towels and get to the one I want to tear off, grab the center and give one swift yank. Try it — it works!

Had a “subscribe-and-save” subscription setup for Amazon’s Presto paper towel brand, and somehow Amazon/Presto was out of stock. This was the only option given to me for a “substitution”, and after receiving it, I have no idea why it was even considered to be a substitution . It is practically in all purposes the opposite of what I thought I’d be getting as a recommended substitution. These rolls are tiny. Amazon’s rolls are huge. Then, these rolls are so thin, it is almost impossible to pull a sheet off without ripping into 3 or more pieces just trying to get one sheet off the roll, and of course the extra thin doesn’t help the absorption at all. One drop of water is already too much water for it to handle. I am literally going through one roll a day. I definitely do not plan to purchase this product ever again.

These are the paper towels I would take to the local cook out when someone asks could you bring something. You bring a case of these and the whole party thinks you are the bees knees. You try to use them in your personal home and you will actually come up with new and creative ways to swear…at least I have. They are decent enough to clean a mirror, too harsh for the spectacles, forget about cleaning the kids hands you safer letting them or the family pet lick it off. They do not tear at the pre cut line and the last sheet is ALWAYS glued to the roll. My eldest daughter tears them all off the roll and folds them for quick napkins when she sets the table…i gave you all the best use… social gatherings…oh wait we cannot do that yet…well looks like these may be a bust. SO in all fairness, if it were a social gathering… good deal, if you need a to be a baller on a dolla and you cannot do any better, still a good deal. If you need something more and you can afford it. (let me say it how I really mean it) This is NOT FOR YOU. Your bourgouise butt will run through it and talk about it just as bad or worse than I am talking about it, but will not credit it for what it is: a budget bargain brand. It is what it is. The reviews I gave them is how I personally felt about them, that is my opinion, they are rougher than Scott’s toilet paper….and I love that stuff. If you have nice paint on your car, do not go dry rubbing on your shiny paint job…you will regret it…let the bug stay there….it will look keyed if you rub this 40 grit on there….

I like that they are recycled, but they wouldn’t be my top choice based on how they function.
Not particularly soft, and they are thinner than most paper towels. The main reason I dislike them is that you can rarely tear off a sheet without it ripping at a random spot. The perforations are useless.
