I have bought several brands of paper towels from Amazon, and to put it lightly, you get what you pay for with the cheaper ones. Buy these, not those. They are well made, and are a much better quality that a lot of the ones available through Amazon.
As far as price is concerned, I believe these are a decent price. If you don’t need a better quality, then you can spend less, but you will probably use more.

Suspect wife is right. Selling a great product for years, is Bounty squeezed now by supply chain problems? Promotes new product as break-thru tech. We detect nonesuch. Seems now less absorbent, not lasting as long.

I don’t often use the word “hate” but I really hate these paper towels. I’ve used Bounty Select-a-Size for years, perhaps decades. I won’t be purchasing them again. I don’t know what brand I will be moving to but I’ve purchased my last Bounty. They have gotten thinner, therefore less absorbent. But, in my opinion, the worst is that the towels no longer tear at the perforation. They simply rip so raggedly there might as well be no perforation at all. Goodbye, Bounty.
