My absolute (new) brand of paper towels. I used, for years, another national brand of ‘select a size’ paper towels. But Viva is so soft, I’m just sorry I went for years using the ‘other brand and missed out on Viva’s softness. It’s the only brand I’ll buy from now on.

I thought Bounty was the best until I tried these. Viva feels so soft and wonderful on my skin when drying my hands. They wipe up good and dry dishes good too. Bounty is still the quicker-picker-upper when it comes to spills.

Low price means low quality. Used them as part of an Amazon Fresh order when I was out of town and they worked as napkins, but I wouldn’t buy them for regular use. They shred if you try to do any type of cleaning with them.

I feel that Viva is a much better alternative to Bounty, and more wallet friendly as well. They are both cloth-like, neither falls apart when wet and they are both more hygienic alternatives to dishcloths when wiping down countertops. But Viva also has ripples in it so that it provides a gentle scrub when trying to clean up messes which are sticky. There is little to no lint so I can use them on mirrors and glass surfaces without having to do a secondary cleaning to get rid of paper residue like I have to do with Brawny.
Sparkle and Georgia Pacific paper towels have the strength of cheap napkins and I still don’t get why anyone would willingly buy Brawny. Its absorbency is almost non-existent and is only slightly thicker than tissue paper. Forget trying to clean anything with a wet sheet of any of these brands. Viva is the better value because I don’t need to use a lot to get the job done, so each roll lasts longer. In addition, it’s a lot more versatile. Meaning I can do more with it than simply clean up a spill and that’s always a good thing. Couple that with the price and it’s my go to paper towel. Bounty is slightly stronger and does handle being wet better, but I don’t feel it’s that much better to warrant the price difference.
