I buy these bags for our counter compost bin. The size is perfect, but this brand is thinner and more flimsy than others I’ve used. They also rip very easily, however are not easy to get out of the box. the perforation between each bag does not easily tear and will rip or stretch the bag before separating. As we use this to collect compost there are often produce juices and this bag doesn’t hold up. It was a better price than other brands, but an inferior product. Will not purchase again.

Our state now requires food waste to go in the yard waste can. This creates a really mess. These bags help, but they are too thin and you have to double them up. The thin nature makes them more difficult to open up as well. Other than that, they work pretty good, and keeps my yard waste can from turning into a complete gag-o-matic mess.

Doesn’t fit the home food waste bucket very well. A bit too small.

Bags are leak prof and sturdy. They fit my 2.6 gallon trash can. With the new trash regulation all food is recycled with the yard wait and these biodegradable bags are required”. Got them just in time.😊

The bags are ok. When I pull them apart to get a new one from the roll it always rips in the middle. I think its due to how they are made and cut at the factory. I am super careful when I tear one off and hold it at the middle so it doesn’t rip, but still it doesn’t help. I even took them out of the box they came in so it doesn’t catch on anything, but still they tear down the middle. I will not purchase these again.

These bags a far too delicate. You cannot even remove them from the roll without them shredding. You have to gingerly (and I mean delicately notch by notch!) tear the bag from the roll just to use one. The bottoms of the bags rip, rendering them useless.

Loved the price but the bags are not very thick or durable, I’ve double bagged them so they won’t leak or fall apart upon removal from the bin, I will go back to the old bags I used before, double the bags that you have to double to assure they don’t leak or pull one out of the box and it tears so you use it as a liner… Kinda defeats the purpose of the value and savings…Live and learn.

These bags are constantly breaking. They are brittle, not stretchy.

Sometimes it would rip easily due to the corn starch material. However, it is supposed to be light and biodegradable!

These bags are fairly sturdy and a decent size. I use them when I for scrapes and stuff I intend to get rid of. I wanted to use less plastic so I thought I would give these a try. I will say I don’t go to the compost to often. I have space in my freezer reserved for food scrapes and I store it in there until the space is full. I can’t say how long these will last in the fridge but I will likely order more, these are great bags and I feel good when using them.
