I like that these are environmentally friendly. Compostable, but I am guessing biodegradable as well, made of plant material without plastic, and are supposed to decompose within 180 days. They are small(er) bags, but not too small, and still hold quite a bit of compost food waste or other things, like cat litter and/or diapers that can be cleanly thrown into the garbage. Just right for a lighter load, when you don’t want to carry too much weight at once. They are relatively thin, and kinda rubbery, but they seem to be relatively sturdy and stretchy, before “forced” to break… yes I did the poking finger test! They hold up well under normal situations… of course, just don’t expect them to remain in tact if poked with sharp objects. A good deal at about 17.3 cents per bag.

These are nice bags in a easy to use dispenser. they are the perfect size for a small compost bin. They also fold up really tiny and unlike plastic bags, they stay that way so its easy to roll a couple up and keep with you while outside the house. The bags are quite strong and can hold a lot of weight. They are also resistant to sharp corners. The one thing I really liked about them is that even when the bag is totally full, its still easy to tie it off using the handles. Overall, these are great quality bags

In NYC they no longer provide free plastic grocery bags and these are great as a replacement. They have handles on the side which makes them really easy to carry. These bags are deceptively sturdy I thought they would be as flimsy as plastic but they are stronger and great for those larger shopping trips. I also use these in my bathrooms small trash bin as well. It fits perfectly for the kinds of things we throw away there. The handles on the sides make it east to tie it when it’s full. Even though it is not plastic they are still reusable.

I try hard to use less plastic. But there are times when you just need to use some plastic bags. I tried to find some that are biodegradable and compostable and better for the Earth overall. These are smaller bags and they come in handy for multiple things like scraps or even to carry something to someone’s house. There’s a lot of these so they should last me a while.

I love getting these trash bags because they are good for the environment. These bags are very strong and I use them in my bathroom and bedroom.
The bags do not break easily and they last a long time. These are perfect and you can use them for different purposes around your house.

Although I have a lot of bags from the grocery store that are the same size as these, that I use for multiple things. I feel that these are a good way to help rid our earth of all the plastics and things that are not compostable. These bags are biodegradable, and therefore they will not be here forever.

These 100% compostable 13 gallon trash bags fit my trash can very well. I have to slightly stretch it over the top of my can, which is nice so it holds in place without being baggy. They are a good quality, though if there is anything sharp it could poke through the bag (I was able to poke my fingernail through the bag fairly easily).
I like that these are compostable, and good for the environment. They would work very well for scrap food, though I’d be wary about placing anything wet in them. I am using them in my 13 gallon recycle bin and feel great about being able to use these for recyclables.
Gadget Girl –
We’ve been composting for ages and this is the kind of bag we need for compost pick up in our area. These bags have a relatively short shelf life which I think is a benefit … it means they really are compostable. They also have a certification that I didn’t even know existed. The size works in our bin on the counter and I’m used to the fact that they are relatively thin and I carry the bin to the larger bin in our garage rather than carrying just the bag in case they tear. The handles make them easy to tie up for disposal.

I like trying to reduce the amount of plastic I use- especially things that are meant to be thrown away. These are big bags and there is no plastic in them! Good option.
