Amazon Customer –
I am torn on this product. In short, the product itself is well made, as expected of Lamicell, but it is not as well balanced as the Lamicell tablet stand. I have the adjustable tablet stand, and I adore it, but unfortunately, this phone stand does not quite live up to the same standard despite being the same design, just smaller.
The good:
The material is sturdy and the appearance is polished. The height range is perfect (for me at least) and the same can be said for the tilt. It is easy enough to adjust. The quality of the stand itself is very good.
The not as good:
The balance is off on this stand. When I have my phone in the stand, it does not topple over when I tap the screen, but it does wobble. I’ve checked the base of the stand and my table, and this is not an issue of having an uneven base or an uneven table surface. The stand itself simply does not weigh enough to keep the phone in place. I do not tap the screen particularly hard and I am not doing anything crazy on my phone like playing games or things like that. I just check texts/emails. I’ve remedied this by placing a small pumpkin on the base (though a paperweight would suffice), and it fixed the problem. (I will mourn the day my small pumpkin decays and leaves my stand to its own devices. I suppose at that point, I will have to invest in a real paperweight.) The base simply needs some extra weight to balance out the force of tapping the screen. The base of the stand is flat and it is a good place to place something to add weight. So if you do not mind adding this weight yourself, then this is still a good product to buy.
As a note, I also have the Lamicell tablet holder of the same style, and I have to say the tablet stand is much better balanced. For a comparison, I can rest my hand on my tablet to write while it is in the tablet stand without needing to use my other hand for support. It is very well balanced. While I do not think the phone stand needs to be nearly this robust, I do think that either the weight of the base needs to be increased more than what it is at right now, or the angle of the stem needs to be angled forward (as can be seen with some of Lamicell’s other phone stands) so that the stand can handle the force of a touch screen without wobbling.

I wanted a stand for my phone so it stood out when I looked at my desk. This does the job perfectly. I love that the placement is adjustable so you can have your phone at a height that works for you.

I love the stand works perfectly to hold my iPhone with my MagSafe charger

Easy to adjust height. It holds my phone perfectly with a heavy armor case. It tilts for a better angle when phone is in horizontal or vertical view. Great stand for your desktop, night stand or for travel. You could use it to watch your cooking videos or favorites shows from the comfort of your kitchen counter. 😉

No more tired hands and weird furniture stacking of books and pencil cups to put my phone at a good angle to speak and to type from!

Love this stand! Purchased in both white and black. Great stand, very sturdy and firm. The stand at bottom is heavy enough so when u place ur phone up top it does not topple over. Great product and super easy to assemble. Stand adjust in height and the holder part adjusts to recline or stand up right.

My husband use it all the time for his meetings. Does not take up a lot of space and it does the job. Would buy again.

I like that the height is adjustable and that it’s a sturdy cell phone/tablet holder. It would have been great had it been able to swivel

Sleek little stand that is adjustable. Holds phone and iPad. Very sturdy. Nice not to have to bend my neck down to watch!
