I really want to like this phone. It’s affordable, the design is attractive and it mostly worked great, except for one ‘deal-breaker’ for me. It easily connected to Mint Mobile and installed all my apps. I really like the finger print reader built into the screen. After a couple days use all basic functions seemed good except I was having trouble hearing conversations on my wired headset in noisy environments (with the volume turned all the way up). I tried a different headsets and tested them with my old phone to make sure they were good.
I contacted Nuu support and was told there was nothing could be done.
I decided to do some objective measurements so I played a 1K sine wave at 0dBFS with the volume all the way up on the Nuu A25 and repeated the test on my old phone. I connected a 22ohm dummy load (stereo) and measured the output. My old phone put out ~0.57VAC*, the A25 put out ~0.17VAC*. Pretty big difference! (*note: Using x10 probes in pic)
I use wired headsets for phone calls, online meetings, and listening to music. A decent analog output is important to me. I’m not expecting an audiophile DAC/Amp at this price, but it should be usable. I tried plugging in an external DAC, but it seems OTG is not supported.
So for someone who is never going to use the 3.5mm Jack with wired headphones/headset this phone is worth a look, but for me the poor analog audio is a deal breaker.

I took my new phone to ATT to switch out the SIM card.
The person who helped me could not believe this phone’s features, quality, and look. I am a previous Samsung user and this Nuu is a winner!

Extremely fast delivery. It is a good looking phone it feels very expensive in the hand it is quick The battery lasts literally all day and I’m on my phone quite a bit. I am extremely impressed with how quickly it charges. Probably about 20 to 30 minutes for full charge using the provided c to c cable and block. Has great sound. Very quick I can ask on it well. Overall the best bang for your buck. Came with a clear case charger cord and block starter kit and a pre-installed screen protector Thank God cuz I struggle with those every time Love it

Received the NUU A25 “Champagne Gold” phone but it is not really gold but rather a pukey pale yellowish beige color! Only the edge around the phone is the gold color shown in the photos. I immediately returned the phone. After I get return credit I will order the black model because the features of the A25 are awesome for the price!

Many people today may be in market for a new phone. I was one, a short while ago. Most phones I found at a reasonable price were locked to a specific carrier, regardless of any plan you may have already. Attempting to by-pass is (and was) a fool’s errand. This phone offered everything I needed and worked with any carrier.

Bought this phone last month and it’s become my favourite device. The display is bright and fluid. The OS is speedy and very responsive. Camera and battery life are amazing. Paying this price for a brand that I never considered using, I am extremely pleased.

I had no bad experiences with this phone. It functions exactly as stated. For a relatively cheap phone, it has good-quality sound, graphics, battery life, and memory. My only pet peeve with this phone is that it easily awakens by shaking it if it’s on. I bought this phone to have more memory to play games. It’s a good gamer phone.
NOTE: I didn’t know this, but you need to insert the phone’s battery yourself. It’s in the box along with the other phone parts. The instructions tell you how if you don’t know.
I also had good experience with shipping and handling. No complaints. But I do warn you that you may have to wait 3-5 days after ordering for the phone to ship.
Highly recommended!

I went into buying 2 of these phones with the mindset that you get what you pay for. This phone completely didn’t meet those expectations. I bought two of these cell phones and have returned one and want to return the other but can’t.
Phone #1 was for my wife and it was never able to be used. The mobile data option on the phone would not engage so it could only be used while on wifi. Only after buying two SIM cards and a Esim that I realize it was the phone and not the SIM.
Phone #2 works but at a snail pace for processing any task. There’s a 50/50 chance that the app will close whether it’s pre installed or added. The keys don’t keep up with typing even after an update. I could fairly state it could have been a 1 time situation but after purchasing two phones I just think this is the quality of the phone being provided by NUU

so far so good. Easy set up. Not really laggy. I just use for a phone and a few apps plus youtube watching
