MULTI-USE:
I quickly discovered I could use these bags for produce, making loose leaf tea, fresh juice from blended fruits, aguas frescas (fruit waters), making almond milk (think cheaper nut milk bag!!!), laundry bag for delicate lace, and to use as sack to take SOFT fruit to post-yoga. (What can I say, I love peaches and figs in the summer). This is great since I always disliked fruit after its been in plastic bag, especially my figs, peaches, and other stone fruit
HOW IT WORKS:
Obviously helps the Earth by reducing plastic use. Also raises awareness when people see you with them. Double win.. This allows your produce to breathe, however not ideal for greens or herbs as they need cool moisture, thus the secret to keeping herbs fresh in the fridge using a damp cloth in an airtight environent. I still put greens in these bags, I just put my greens in the crisper drawer when I get home. Problem solved,
WHICH PRODUCE CAN FIT:
I think the obvious.. apples, oranges, and other snack size round fruit. I would estimate that I could load up my largest size bag with approximately 7-9 lbs of round fruit. (I say approximate because I fill up about 1/3 of bag with stone fruit and its comes to about 3 lbs), or a 2 person serving watermelon. (Yes, it holds its weight!!! No ripping or busted seams carrying the melons)
BIG STUFF?
Yupp, It does it. I’ve fit so far:
Whole celery hearts with leaves, 3 extra large romaine lettuce, approximately 15-18 bananas, 5 bunches of 8" long carrots, 3 baskets of strawberries, melons (I’d say about 10 lbs max) large yams. They’re very moderately sized.
EASY TO CLEAN:
I wash these by hand using 7th generation dish soap and that’s plenty. I leave them out to dry and they’re great. I stained some with strawberries and figs and the stain didn’t come out but I don’t care. If necessary for my aesthetic pleasure, I can bleach ’em in a whites cycle.
VALUE:
To be honest, because these are so multi-use, I’d say they’re worth every penny plus shipping even if you don’t have prime. I bought 2 sets and discovered I can use them for so many things I should have bought 3-4 sets! I feel so much more kind to the Earth now, I feel more responsible, and feeling better about yourself makes you happy. These bags add to my happiness in life. Haha. Buy them for gifts, buy them to help lower that footprint, since, well, plastic doesn’t detoriate and you care about the future. Plus, your food doesn’t get that weird off plastic after taste which is so refreshing. BUY BUY BUY!!!

Great Customer Service! They really impressed me.
They are great. Quality – well made. I used to wrap my vegetables in paper towels so they would last longer, and they did. When using these bags and they last even longer. I now have a second set.
Â
Washing: I washed them in the washing machine, and they came out fine, there was no damage to any of the seams. However, the smell of the soap was still on them. I now wash them with Dawn. I squeeze the water out and put them over something to dry, like covering the can opener. They are almost dry when I squeeze the water out, they dry very, very, fast.

I really like them. Clerks have given negative comments about not being able to see thru them. You can, as someone else pointed out, put the produce sticker from the fruit or veggie on the tag. I guess everyone will adjust after the plastic ones are mandated no longer for use. They do wash up well and are easy to use.

These reusable mesh bags are fantastic. I decided to get them after looking at all the different options on Amazon. One of the reasons why I got them was because they donate a portion of each purchase to help promote sustainable living- I think that’s a great cause. People don’t realize the effect that certain things have on the environment. That’s the same reason why I eliminated plastic bags from the house with reusable shopping bags and switched to eco-friendly swedish dishcloths!
Now to talk about the actual bags:
Ive been using them for a couple weeks now and they’re holding up great. You can tell that they’re high quality. They’re foldable and compact as well- I have some in the car and some in my bag. Where I live, some of the stores give you a discount too if you opt not to use their plastic bags which is a nice plus! The pull cord to close the bag is also well-made and durable.
I use them for a variety of stuff but 80% of the time its produce. I think thats what most people use them for actually. It’s super convenient because you just put them in the bag at the store and then you can put them directly into the fridge like that when you get home. The mesh material is breathable so you don’t have to worry about it going bad. Actually in my experience the product actually stays fresh for longer as opposed to if you have to in a plastic bag.
Cleaning isn’t a hassle either since you can throw the bags directly into the washing machine- in fact, that’s one of their selling points. I usually wash them together with my other eco bags in one load with mild detergent. I leave them out to dry afterwards and that’s that. Just don’t put more than three in at a time since the pull cords will tangle…at least thats what it says in the directions. I have a couple of stains on one of the bags from some squished fruit that didn’t really come out but honestly it doesn’t really bother me.
I also like how the set comes with multiple sizes. I can pretty much fit anything in them. The largest bag I would say that you can easily fit several pounds of stuff. I know I’ve done that with fruit. The only thing you want to be careful of is sharp points since that can damage the mesh.
The only con for me is that the bag is not very translucent which means that the cashier may have trouble scanning your stuff at the till. 9/10 they’ll have to open the bag to get to the scan code which can take longer. That reminds me…remember to get them to ring in the bag weight! The tare weight is on the color tag on the bag. You’ll be paying extra for absolutely no reason otherwise.
Overall I would buy them again. Anything to prevent more plastic from ending up in the landfill. Remember guys…those things are going to stay there for hundreds of years!!

These keep our produce fresher longer and are a great help for things like parsley or green onions that tend to turn quickly. I love that I can simply throw them into the washer & know they are clean again. The different sizes are helpful to have just the right bag for the right cause. Great way to try to reduce the plastic that has overcome our world. I wish this was something you could use at the grocery & then send back to them for cleaning. That would really change the need for plastic bags in the produce section. Anyway they are a great product and I am happy to have them

These are awesome! They are soft, sturdy, lightweight and great for a variety of uses. I especially love them for travel, using them in my suitcase to keep different clothing items organized. For grocery store convenience, the tare weight is listed on each of the bags.

These produce bags had been on my list for a while so when they went on lightning deal I grabbed a set- they seem sturdy and the drawstring closure is nice
