I am new to sumac, but after watching a few Refika videos, I thought I would give it a try. It has a wonderful, light, citrusy sort of flavor, great on chicken, fish, eggs, dipping oils, go crazy and just try it.

I was surprised by the salt in this product as I was looking for just the spice. I can add my own salt if it’s necessary. Sumac is such a lovely spice. I was disappointed by this product because of the salt. The sumac itself tasted fresh. I will continue my search for a source of fresh, delicious sumac!!!

I was going to use this in a sauce but my plans changed, so I figured I’d do something different. I added some directly so some plain hummus, mixed will and spread on some multi grain bread.
It really added some nice flavor and complexity to the hummus. This would be great addition to many items not just hummus

This is a unique and flavorful spice! Not hot or spicy at all. It has a citrusy tangy type of taste and a coarse texture. Goes very well in dressings or as a garnish. I’m a fan!

I opened the lid to find a whole in the tamper proof seal. I will not use this product that has an opened seal or that has been tampered with. Unfortunately, this is an item that cannot be returned. Money down the drain 😒.

I’m a little disappointed that this item contains salt. I guess that’s my fault since I didn’t read the fine print 10 scrolls down instead of the company posting a picture of the ingredients with the rest of their posted pictures like every other seller does.
