Yummy

The base it’s self had a decent flavor but it only came with two spice pouches. I wished it was blended in the the pho base it’s self. D maybe better for very very large batches of broth.

been looking for a good soup base to make phō at home and i’ve seen this specific one all over social media so i decided to try, we haven’t used meat like the directions said because we need the right meat but we’ve gone through the whole thing so far and its absolutely amazing. but the type of noodles affect the taste heavily and the way they’re cooked. i find that mung bean noodles are best!

I’m a former chef and whether it was this base, or the other ingredients, it may have been the best thing I ever made. Here’s my recipe, all beef:2lbs meaty neck bones, 3 lbs shank bones, 2.5 lbs ox tail, 1.5 lbs rough flank, 2 lbs brisket, Boil meats/bones 5 min, drain/discard water. Add 2 gallons water, 2 onion, 5” ginger(both cut in half and charred). Simmer 2 hours, discard onion and ginger, add 1/2 can of 10 oz pho base and 1 spice packet, plus 4-5 star anise, 1 cinnamon stick, and coriander (toast spices). Simmer 30, check meats for tenderness and remove when done, neck meat too (rough flank took 4 hrs, everything else 2.5-3). After another 30 min remove spices. Let bones simmer a few more hours, season with fish sauce/sugar, remove bones, skim and enjoy. Made 10-12 servings.

I don’t want to travel miles for mediocre phó. I go to my local Asian grocery and buy thai basil, bean sprouts, and cilantro. I also get bone broth to add with my soup for the days I need more nutrients.
Great.

Bought this once and was wowed by the quality: it was as good as the pho I ate in Vietnam. Ordered it again, and while it was good, pho didn’t have the deep flavor I tasted the first time. Improved quality control may be needed.

If you’ve ever been smitten by the aromatic allure of a simmering pot of pho in a Vietnamese restaurant, you’ll be thrilled with Quoc Viet Foods Beef Flavored “Pho” broth. Here’s the scoop:
A Taste of Vietnam: It’s almost like having a Vietnamese grandmother in your kitchen, patiently preparing that delightful broth. Quoc Viet captures the nuanced flavors perfectly – the warm spices, the rich beefy aroma, and the gentle undertones that define a perfect pho.
Home Cook’s Delight: Making pho from scratch requires hours of simmering and a list of ingredients that aren’t always readily available. With Quoc Viet’s beef flavored “Pho”, the effort is reduced dramatically. It gives you a head start that’s both convenient and delicious.
Quality Ingredients: One glance at the ingredient list, and you can tell they haven’t skimped. It’s a blend that respects the authenticity of the dish.
Versatility: Apart from traditional pho, this broth serves as an excellent base for other soups and dishes, adding depth and richness.
Final Thoughts: Bringing authentic flavors to a homemade dish can be daunting, but Quoc Viet Foods Beef Flavored “Pho” is the secret weapon you didn’t know you needed. It’s not just a product; it’s a passport to the culinary streets of Vietnam. If pho at home is your goal, then this is the game-changer you’ve been looking for. Highly recommended!

If you’re on a quest for the ultimate pho experience at home, your search ends with Quoc Viet Foods Beef Flavored “Pho” Soup Base. I’ve tried various soup bases in my time, but this one takes the pho bowl!
The flavor is outstanding – it’s like having a Vietnamese grandmother lovingly preparing a pot of pho in your kitchen. It has just the right balance of spices, richness, and beefy goodness that you would expect from a high-quality pho broth.
The ease of use is another big win. You don’t need to be a seasoned chef to whip up a delicious bowl of pho. This soup base does most of the heavy lifting for you. It’s a lifesaver for busy days when you crave comfort food but don’t have hours to spend simmering broth.
In summary, Quoc Viet Foods Beef Flavored “Pho” Soup Base is a top-notch choice for anyone looking to enjoy authentic-tasting pho without the hassle of starting from scratch. It’s the best available option in my book, and I’m pretty sure once you try it, you’ll be shelving those other soup bases. A must-try for all pho enthusiasts!

Authentic, delicious, follow directions and it’s easy to make. Might need translation of information on packaging for instructions on preparing. One container is for up to 2 gallons of broth! Have meat, chicken or pork ready to cook with broth when preparing.
