I absolutely love Pho and we moved to a city where the closest Vietnamese place is over an hour away. When I saw this online I was very excited. The reviews were great too. However, I was very disappointed after reading those reviews when I tried it for myself. It has a very powerful aftertaste that is not normal with regular pho. I’ve had pho from countless Vietnamese places, and I’ve never had one that had a weird aftertaste like that. I feel like they put way too many dried onions into their mix and that’s probably what’s attributing it, I did try and take them out and it still didn’t help too much but maybe I didn’t get enough of them out. I had to add a lot more things to it to get the flavor to be better.
