These are great love them so much, great values for your money as well, however they tear ever time, this cause the raps to look sort of retarded lol , i guess i have to try it a few times to get it right .

I’m disappointed in the wrappers. For me, they’re difficult to work with, fall apart and I don’t like the texture. I wanted ones I could fry and these are impossible to try to fry. I’ve also tried baking them and they’re just not good. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? I contacted the seller well over a week ago and STILL haven’t received a message back!

Ever since I was introduced to non-fried, fresh spring rolls at a Vietnamese restaurant, I’ve been obsessed with them. Immediately I started experimenting and making them at home. I have bought a variety of brands from Asian markets to Whole Foods and they are decent, but I’ve always been a bit bothered by the fact that they are made from white rice which is not nearly as nutritious as brown rice. I did not think brown rice wrappers existed!
Once again Amazon comes through for the consumer and gives us access to great products like these superior spring roll wrappers! I didn’t think they’d actually taste much different or better than the white rice wrappers I usually buy, but I was SO wrong. These wrappers are delicious–they taste fresher, are not gummy or thick like the white rice wrappers (my husband LOVES them and whenever we make spring rolls for friends, they rave about them). Also, the ingredients are superior–they are made from premium whole brown rice, unlike the white rice wrappers which are made from “white rice flour” which makes a big difference on so many levels–taste to nutrition.
I also read about this company which was started by two women. They are a small company; they are ethical and care about the quality of their products and farmers that they deal with…unusual in this day and age.
One more thing! Don’t be afraid to make these at home! You can fill these wrappers with anything! Simply dip the wrap in a bowl of water for a few seconds, lay it on a table and fill! I dip 2 wrappers in water at a time (much faster) and spoon in everything from chopped veggies and tempeh to noodles and tofu. They are simply delicious.

Originally I bought these because they seemed like a more healthy alternative to wrappers made of white rice. I had no idea what to expect regarding ease of use and taste. Wow! I can’t say enough good things about them. I filled a wide bowl with very warm water and dipped each wrapper working it in while turning and gently rubbing until they became flexible. I laid them on a plate and added salad, mint, coriander, bean spouts, cucumber, then followed the package directions folding the sides in then rolling up. I used a chili dipping sauce and my husband loved them. Next time I’ll add carrots.
I noticed that when the water cooled it took longer for the wrappers to soften, so keep the water very warm and you will not have any problems.
The pack of six was well packaged and not one was broken. Shipping to my DPO address was very fast.
Hope Amazon never runs out of these!

I buy vietnamese spring roll papers often in my local vietnamese store and was surprised to find a brown rice version on amazon. Always trying to find healthier versions of the foods that I love. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical that these would hold up as well as the original white variety but I am very surprised that they were almost as easy as the white rice variety to use. They actually have a more satisfying and fullfilling flavor too. Not quite the same, but a actually taste bit better in my opinion. You can actually taste these papers unlike the other ones I have used in the past. The white rice kind usually taste a bit gummy and pasty, but these are great texturally and also in flavor. I will definitely be buying these again (even though they come in a pack of 6 and i have LOADS leftover). GREAT PRODUCT!!

Gluten free, low fodmap, not so high in carbs like the white ones, etc. Was delivered perfectly in a box that prevented breakage. Even better that the expiration date isn’t until 3 years after I bought them. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to finish them all in time. Lol Now I’m certain that I can. 😁
Update: Found out that you can’t use these to make fried rolls. Lol The other ingredients in them (except for the rice) keep them from getting crisp. They just get soggy and fall apart. Lol Just use the regular white rice wrappers for frying.

We have always enjoyed spring rolls however I was always concerned about them being made from white rice, so I stopped buying them. I was so pleased to find these when I did a search on the Internet. They are the only company to make brown rice wraps and noodles. They are so easy to use and you can wrap anything in them. They are so delicious. We are vegan and eat a lot of raw foods and these have added so much to our recipe choices. Nice company to do business with as well, as they sent me great recipe ideas.

I have been such a fan of the spring rolls sold in the specialty custom sushi section of our grocery store. With most spring roll packages being approximately $6-$10/pkg, it can seriously eat into the budget.
I decided to find the wrappers here and I am so glad I looked for and found them!
Making the spring roll takes some getting used to. Handling the wraps will take some time to get a feel for how it behaves when wet. It is stretchy but will break if forced to roll too tightly. I have noticed that a wrap or two will need a longer dipping time in the water otherwise it will not roll properly. The longer you make them, the easier it becomes. It’s definitely a learning curve, but surely a fun one!
I have been very satisfied with the quality of the brown rice wrappers and will surely buy more. I am able to see a good savings in making these at home too which is fabulous as well!

Please note, there are a LOT of rice paper wrappers in this order (like 8 packages with 25wrappers each!). However, you will NOT be disappointed. These wraps are easy to use, have no weird taste (just like a plain rice paper wrapper should), and are only 62 calories for 2 of them! Best of all, they are gluten free!

I love to make healthy food with clean ingredients for my family. With all the time constraints that come along with two working parents and two littles, I’ve often opted for a sprouted grain wrap to house veggies and proteins while on the go. I came across Star Anise Foods Brown Rice Spring Roll Wrappers and could not be happier with this upgrade!
Although, both are NON GMO and take only seconds to prepare, the spring rolls are waaaay more versatile (great for dinners too, I have even replaced my mom’s mini meat pie recipe with this quick low-fat, low carb solution.) Unlike the sprouted grain tortillas, I have been using for years, the wraps have ZERO grams of fat and ZERO grams of sugar, are gluten free and are LOWER in sodium! I LOVE the taste and my toddler twins are on board, too. We have been playing around with fun wraps they can help make (think: fruits, nut butters, cheeses, cucumber). This has been a game changer in our busy household. I AM OBSESSED!
Just bought some of their brown rice noodles with seaweed, so I will be back to review in a bit! Hoping I am equally as wowed! This must be a parent-owned brand as everything is so simple to prepare and filled with wholesome ingredients. Love, love, love – 5 stars for sure! ☆☆☆☆☆
