This is our third brand of compostable garbage bags. The first type, started decomposing in the can if there was anything wet. The second was as sturdy as any plastic bag and while it stated it was made from plant fiber I’m certain that there was also a fair amount of plastic in it as well. These bags so far are the best. They are actually quite strong, can handle the weight of diapers. The only real flaw I’ve noticed is they puncture easily (watch your fingers when pulling them out of the can) but they are still very useable. We’ve been using them as our main kitchen bags and for diapers and are really pleased.

These bags are better for the environment than plastic and they are sturdy. I feel better about using them.

These are the second brand of biodegradable trash bags I have bought. These do a much better job of fitting my tall kitchen garbage can than the other ones (Compostable Trash Bags 100% Biodegradable Trash Bags Kitchen Trash Bags – 13 Gallon ASTM D6400 Certified by JTSC Products – 29.5in deep, 100 Count, Extra Heavy Duty 1.0 mil Thick, Organic Waste Bag). They seem a little more fragile, but so far are holding up better than the others, too (which had a tendency to rip putting them on the can). Have run into one spool with some perforation problems, but not so bad that they are unusable. No problems with leaking, but I don’t load them with a lot of wet stuff. I will reorder.

Great trash bags that fit our kitchen cans and also fit in our Litter Robot. Love the biodegradable feature that helps lessen our footprint on our earth. They aren’t especially thick so don’t overload the bag.

All though sometimes they break as any bag, just being biodegradable I like them, they dont smell and they are easy to carry, they are not too bing nor too small perfect size.

I was hoping based on the review that these would be somewhat durable. They are thicker than I expected, but they tear really easily. And its not in the way other trash bags do; these tear in lines running the length of the bag. So if you do happen to have a tear it isn’t going to be a small one, and its going to continue to tear with every little bit of pressure as you are walking your bag to the outside trash.

This biodegradable trash bags are easy to open and pick in our tall kitchen trash can. I have use them for several weeks and they are sturdy, hold a good amount of garage, easy to tie, and economically affordable. I especially like the fact that they are biodegradable and will deteriorate
