One corner of the box holding the foil sheets was damaged. All the foil sheets were bent at that corner, so they are not easy to get out of the box, especially without tearing them.
Also, the foil sheets are a little thin, so will need to double them up depending on use.

Which isn’t a bad thing at all. I use foil to line the tray in my toaster oven and my air fryer. I’m the uncoordinated so and so who cannot rip the foil or the plastic wrap without tearing it or messing it up somehow. These sheets come out of the box ready for use. Wrap a couple cat treats, roll in a loose ball- instant cat toy. Drives a cat insane. And aluminum foil bits all over the house? Drives the vacuum insane.
Helpful hint: cut a sheet into three strips to wrap around your pie crust so it doesn’t burn. Friday’s fish just pack it and bake. Wrap n roll baked potato, don’t forget to stick it with a fork to let the steam out. A little oil in your foil so you can bake as opposed to boil. Now you’re cooking! With foil. And again. And again…

Ordered these for air fryer. Fit perfectly and also great for baked potatoes. Would highly recommend.

The right size and much money saved instead of using rolled aluminum foil.
Very convenient too!

We have used these for awhile. Cuts down usage and saves money instead of using the larger rolls

NOTE: I got the box of 500 pop-up deli sheets. The brand on the box says “Choice,” which is not what’s advertised on the page, but that seems to be the only difference between page & product.
I normally get a very small box of pop-up foil sheets to take on camping trips. They’re very useful for many different applications. I got this huge box of 500 for home use only, and we’ve been using them almost daily, mostly for cooking.
These are not heavy duty sheets of foil (if someone makes heavy duty pop-ups, I’ll buy them!), but they are stronger than some of the really cheap rolled foil I’ve bought in the past that tear as soon as you touch them. These are not only good for deli-type use — like wrapping sandwiches, burritos, fries, and other foods — but also for lining a baking sheet or wrapping a baked potato or other vegetables. We haven’t tried using them on the grill yet since it’s still winter, but I’m pretty sure these things would do well on a grill or a campfire setting, even if they need to be doubled.
I have a plethora of grandkids, and we sometimes use foil for crafts, so these are very handy for that as well. These sheets are textured (“embossed” — see the page photos), which isn’t like my ordinary foil, so we may have some interesting new ideas for crafting when I show them these.
At about $24 for the box of 500 when I ordered, these are a bit out of my budget for regular/frequent home use, so not the best value for me. I’m glad I got the opportunity to order them and try something new, however. If you’re interested in these, I recommend keeping an eye out for discounts or coupons. They are convenient and versatile and plentiful.
Four crinkly stars from me!

Aluminum foils are made by rolling pure aluminum into thin sheets. The process sounds simple enough, but the quality of the end product can greatly vary depending on the purity of the aluminum used and the thickness of the foil. Cheaper, lower quality foils often use less pure aluminum and are rolled thinner, which may impact their performance and safety.
One of the main issues with low-quality aluminum foil is its susceptibility to tearing. A thin, weak foil not only tears easily, making it frustrating to use, but it can also fail to provide the barrier you need against light, heat, and oxygen, thereby compromising its primary function in food preservation.
Another concern is the potential health risk associated with using low-quality aluminum foil. When used with acidic or salty foods, aluminum can leach into the meal, especially when heated. While the amount is typically small, consistent exposure could pose health risks over time. High-quality aluminum foils are less likely to break down, but the risk is still present.
Moreover, environmentally conscious consumers might take issue with the disposable nature of aluminum foil. While it’s convenient, the production of aluminum foil is energy-intensive, and its single-use nature contributes to waste. It’s crucial to balance its convenience with environmental considerations by using it sparingly and recycling whenever possible.
Low-quality aluminum foil might seem like a cost-saving choice, but considering the potential issues from tearing to health concerns, the trade-off might not be worth it. It’s worth investing in a higher quality product, or better yet, exploring sustainable, reusable alternatives like silicone baking mats, beeswax wraps, or stainless steel containers.
In conclusion, while aluminum foil, particularly of lower quality, has its issues, it remains a useful tool when used properly and responsibly. As consumers, it’s important to be aware of these concerns to make informed choices for our health and the environment.
