These were reasonably priced but they weren’t very strong or sturdy. They ripped when we placed leaves in them. I won’t purchase again.

Agree with a previous comment about being careful trying to open the bag. Every bag I try to open rips at the top, making it harder for grass and leaves to get into the bag cleanly as I am trying to dump lawnmower clippings. Would be nice if the bags were somehow reinforced at the top, which would also better secure the bag when it is rolled/folded before placing out to the street. Perhaps I’ll try using packing tape around the top to keep it from ripping before trying to open the bag. The bottom of the bag, however, is well secured and holds the contents as it should.

These bags were cheaper than other brands I had previously purchased. Well, you get what you pay for. The bags are thin, and the top rips easily. The top usually rips before you even get to the point of loading in leaves because you have to put practically your entire body in the bag to get it to open. The bottom is weirdly folded or slap-dash glued or so stiff that it won’t expand. It’s labor intensive enough to collect leaves and gum tree pods, why would anyone want to compound the challenge with a flimsy bag that won’t entirely open. Stick with Lowes or Home Depot.

We put leaves and grass in them every week. They sit outside completely exposed to all the weather. We have never had one tear or break apart no matter how much rain they endured.

The bags are substantial; they stand up nicely to put cuttings into. Great for easy recycling.

All of the local hardware stores were out of lawn and leaf bags and when a new shipment came in they would all be purchased in a matter of hours.
So we purchased these and I am happy to say they are equal in sturdiness and quality to big box store brands.
