After one week of using these, the lid flaps started breaking off… almost like they were brittle. No excessive force, no falls, etc. It just happened while trying to open the lid and the flap just snapped. I otherwise really like these and wish they were a little stronger.

These are well worth the money. It’s hard to find these that are dishwasher safe, and microwave (tho idk what you’d use them in the mw for). Good size options and easy operation make theses an easy buy. I wash and rinse right in the strainer and have increased the shelf life of produce by weeks. I’ve had strawberries in the container now for three weeks and they are still as good as new!

I was so excited to get these for my fruit. They are cool but the lids are a little hard to close. They have to be aligned JUST right to click them down. Still recommend though!

For storing fresh fruit of any kind of “berry”, we put them in a sealable plastic container and place them in the refrigerator. This works fine if you consume the berries quickly. Frequently, we must throw away some of the fruit because it gets soggy or moldy because moisture accumulates in the bottom of the container.
When I came across these containers and read about how they work it was an easy decision to order them.
What I like about the containers:
1) Fresh fruit from the store can be placed in the colander and thoroughly rinsed with the water running through the colander and into the sink.
2) After letting the colander sit in the sink for a minute to let the excess water runoff, you place the colander and fruit into the containers and easily seal them with the fold over tabs.
3) The containers are clear plastic which allows you to easily see what is in them.
4) The colanders keep the fruit off the bottom of the container, so the fruit inside does not sit in any moisture that drains off the fruit which keeps the fruit fresh longer.
5) You get six sizes of containers and colanders in the kit.
What I didn’t like about the containers:
1) This is a small issue, but I would like to have the colanders hold the fruit higher in the containers than what they do. As designed, there isn’t much room for water to accumulate in the bottom of the container.
I wasn’t looking for these containers but when I saw them, I quickly thought of them as a great solution to an ongoing problem with keeping fresh fruit fresh for a longer period.
I like this product and recommend it.

These containers look well-made but the lids do not snap on easily at all. You have to fight with the largest one to get the lid on and snapped shut. For this reason I do not recommend these.

Absolutely love having a ‘colander’ in every storage container…every veggie fan and gardener should own a set!!

Just received and was happy with the first use kept strawberries fresh for about 2 weeks longer.

First when they are all put away, they stack inside each other which is beyond convenient. They are durable, did I drop them yep in my true klutz form the insert colander bounced (not kidding). For now my fruit and veggie hauls are no longer rotting in their plastic bags inside my fridge drawers. However, it was a compromise as I lost space in my main fridge because they are no longer shoved into drawers. This also means I get to eat them and they are ready to go (having been washed in the colander, then the colander is placed back in the main storage bin and sealed up) so less food waste and more user friendly. This Summer/Fall these are going to be epic with our backyard raised garden, I can just take the colander out pick my produce, carry it back into my house, clean, store and I’m eating fresh at the ready! Side note, I like food and this product makes it easier for me to get to eating the food stage!

Ok I will be honest. I was hesitant about these but ordered them to give them a try and I was pleasantly surprised. I believe they actually keep your fruits and veggies fresh longer. I also think that by keeping the moisture away from the fruit and veggies it keeps them from drying out and allows them to taste just as good as the day you bought them. Example my house loves strawberries however by the time I get around to having some it’s 2/3 days after I purchased them and they are already starting to dry out. Not anymore with these bowls. They were just as fresh juicy and delicious 3 days later. That alone sold me. I’m still testing lettuce which is on day 5 and still crisp fresh and no changing of color. So far I’m saying these bowls r 10/10.

My strawberries also go bad so fast for some reason and with these containers they stayed good for almost 2 weeks
