This product is a great exfoliator. It does what it is supposed to do. I just really was not a fan of the smell.

I usually struggle to find face washes that are exfoliating enough for me, but this one was too exfoliating lol. Just a little too harsh for my face, it literally scratched my eye lid. I’ve found I love it for other parts of my body, though! Just be a little careful around sensitive areas. Overall I do really like it.

This is my ‘ride-or-die’ scrub. I use it almost daily and always have an extra bottle on hand. It is gentle enough to use daily, but effective enough to see a difference. I have sensitive skin and my skin has never had an adverse reaction to this scrub. I can tell my serums soak in much better after using this, and my skin just has a glow to it. It has a permanent home in my shower.

I feel like my skin can breathe again after just the first use. I suggest using it after face wash to get your skin wet and follow it with astringent to tighten your skin. Skincare enthusiast friends of mine also recommend building up to using it as directed, three times a week. Just use it once your first week to understand how it works with your skin if you aren’t used to exfoliating. I’m genuinely excited to try is again this weekend as I bulk up my skincare regiment to prepare for my wedding in a few months

This is abrasive but leaves your face feeling soft and clean. You do not need a lot so the tube should last awhile. Will buy again in the future when I run out.

Just what I was looking for. I have very dry flakey skin. It seems to be helping. They recommend to do it 3 times a week but I only do it twice, it takes a bit to get use to. Kimmie

This product is a little smelly, but it works WONDERS. My pores are clearer than they’ve been since I was a kid. The astringent effect is wonderful. I will never use anything else for exfoliation again!

This product is quite an interesting one. I will be evaluating it briefly in terms of shipment, description, effectivity, and which skin types it is most like best and worst for.
Disclaimer: All skin types are different, and if this product works for you, that’s great. If it doesn’t, that’s completely fine, but I would consider discontinuing use as soon as possible if so. I am not a dermatologist or medical professional, these are based on my knowledge and experiences using such products and I am open to learn more about skincare.
Shipment: The product came decently packaged, and it came with plastic wrapping around the area in which the product comes out, basically the white-colored part of the packaging. There was no leak whatsoever of the product, and all that was needed was to remove the plastic wrap using scissors or even just manually.
Description: The product is a physical exfoliant, which by definition is an exfoliator that exfoliates dead skin cells using a physical abrasive rather than a chemical one. Chemical exfoliants include salicylic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid, etc. while physical exfoliants like this product include beads such as jojoba beads or even some fruit seeds. The key to a good physical exfoliator is generally finding something that uses rounded beads rather than beads or grounds that have sharp ends or a rough, as those can tug on the skin and potentially contribute to damage of the skin barrier. This product seems to use walnut shell powder, which is notoriously known to be quite rough on the skin and quite abrasive. Of course, it can vary from person to person, and it may work for some people, as it can help with dull skin and dead skin cell buildup. But it is quite risky, especially for sensitive skin, so be warned. Upon use, I felt it was quite grainy, as you would expect. Upon application on cleansed skin, it can feel a bit rough on my somewhat sensitive skin, and when I gently rub it in, it does feel a bit overly exfoliating and even a little bit painful if you will. Another thing to beware of is that the product may seperate a little bit, and sometimes I noticed that when squeezing out the product some green, water-like liquid would also tend to come out.
Effectivity: Despite the harsh nature of the product, I will say I did see benefit from use of the product. I did not use it for more than once or twice a week because doing so more could be over-exfoliating, which can damage and dry out the skin, potentially leading to flaky, cracked skin and potentially other skin conditions. After consistent use, I saw a noticeable improvement in the brightness of my skin as well as smoother, more supple skin. Remember to always patch test before using a product, as you never know how a product may behave on your skin, as the skin on the face is quite fragile and thin.
Skin types: Overall, this product cannot work definitively on one skin type, as skin and skin conditions always vary. However, I would recommend that those with sensitive skin steer clear from this specific product, and that if you do want to use this specific exfoliator, take proper steps and use with caution. It also may be effective for very oily skin types, as it does help with excess oil production, as the French green clay may help in regulating excess sebum production. Though please be warned that the product may not work for everyone, and if needed, consult from a medical professional.

I got this facial scrub during winter because I still wanted to exfoliate but without ulteriorly damaging my skin. This product turned out to be the perfect match. It is very delicate but it still gives that deep cleaning that I really wanted. I really liked the texture, and the scent was very natural, it didn’t smell like chemicals as other products do. It looks like there is not much product in the bottle, but you need a very small amount only 3 times a week to obtain great results. I would definitely buy this product again.

I found this facial scrub and have now turned about 10 of my friends into it. It’s my favorite go to gift as well now! Love love love it! It’s coarse enough to be effective in removing dead skin yet not too hard that it hurts. I recommend you keep it in the shower as it is darker in color and will make a mess if you are planning to just wash your face before bed by your sink.
Also, I have to honestly say I don’t remember my skin ever looking this fresh and glowing since I was in my 20s.
