This is exactly what I was looking for. It’s cheaper than the name brand, but smells the same. I use antibacterial soap to wash my hands and so I go through a lot of it. This is perfect to refill those small soap hand pump dispensers.

This soap seems mostly OK, but it is on the thin/watery side. That means when you press down on the dispenser to apply some onto your hand, it splashes out with excess volume and velocity, leading to waste.

When it comes to price, this is hard to beat. It’s for good reason though. It smells nice and doesn’t dry out my hands. Unless I have a coupon for something else, this is currently my go-to soap. This is all I need and for the price, it does everything I want in a soap.

This is a solid choice for anyone seeking an effective and affordable hand soap. Its triclosan-free formula reassures me about its safety, and the citrus scent is pleasant and refreshing. The light moisturizing properties help prevent dryness, especially with frequent use. The refill option is eco-friendly and convenient, reducing waste and saving money. Overall, for me it’s a reliable and budget-friendly choice for maintaining proper hand hygiene in my home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an effective and pleasant hand soap option.

I purchased the Amazon Basics Antibacterial Liquid Hand Soap in the economy size to fill all my soap bottles in our bathrooms and at the kitchen sink (I don’t like purchasing so many little plastic bottles over and over).
I bought it because it was one of the cheapest soaps I could find on Amazon in that quantity.
Unfortunately I find the product is not as good as some of the other refill soaps I have purchased in the past. It seems very runny and almost like it is watered-down — not like most of the other antibacterial soaps I’ve gotten in the past.
The scent is nice, and it eventually lathers up well, but as a consequence of how watery it is, I also feel I need to use two pumps of soap to get the same clean as I did with one pump of other products.
While I would like to think this funniness is a fluke, I don’t think this thickness issue is only affecting my one bottle; I therefore do not think I will purchase it again, and will instead go back to a slightly more expensive soap that I do not have to use as much of at one time.

In my girlfriend’s home, the Amazon Basics Liquid Hand Soap has secured a special place, primarily in her kitchen and bathroom, where it seamlessly complements her soap dispensers. With its generous 50-fluid ounce pack, she can enjoy extended periods without the worry of running out of soap. This not only provides peace of mind but also trims down her visits to the supermarket or Walgreens.
What sets this hand soap apart extends beyond practicality; it’s also the delightful citrus scent that bestows a touch of luxury upon her daily routine. Each time she indulges in handwashing, a mild and pleasant fragrance enhances the experience. Moreover, this soap goes the extra mile by offering moisturizing support to her skin, leaving it soft, smooth, and becoming an integral part of her skincare regimen.
As for the triclosan-free formula, I admit the term was unfamiliar to me before this purchase. Delving deeper, I found that triclosan is an antibacterial and antifungal agent present in some consumer products, including soap. While its effectiveness as an antimicrobial agent remains controversial, concerns revolve around the risks of antimicrobial resistance and its potential effects on hormonal development. Research also explores its impact on organisms and environmental health. Though the intricacies might not be entirely clear, we both appreciate the mounting environmental and safety concerns surrounding household products. Knowing that this soap is free from triclosan aligns perfectly with our commitment to safer, eco-friendly choices. It’s a small yet meaningful stride toward a cleaner and greener home.
Having used this product for a considerable duration, it has become a staple in her kitchen and bathroom. Not only does it uphold cleanliness, but it also contributes to a more environmentally responsible household. The Amazon Basics Liquid Hand Soap seamlessly blends value, a refreshing citrus scent, and an eco-conscious approach, making it a perfect addition to her daily routine and during my visits.

The value for the money is great for this product. It does seem to clean your hands pretty well but you will need to use a little more soap than you may be used to. The sent doesn’t stick around really long after washing but it gets the job done.

I was able to fill up two middle-sized hand dispensers and able to have a great bit left over. The issue I had with this product was that It had a scent but I didn’t smell anything. I had my mom smell it and she said that she could kind of smell it, but it was very faint to the point that you would have to put your nose really close to it to smell it.
