We purchased the Commercial grade select a size. I didn’t think much of them when I opened the box. They are not super sized rolls. We use a lot of paper towels. These 12 rolls have lasted over 3 months. The Walmart brand I had been purchasing was 12 jumbo rolls. They only lasted 2 months
. Of course, the price of paper towels has risen, so I now consider these a good value, I end up spending more when buying cheaper quality paper towels.
These paper towels are absorbent, plain white, and sturdy. They are not soft. They have absorbing quilting. Usually a 1/2 sheet is all that is needed.
UPDATE’ I also purchased the 250 sheet Commercial Paper towels by Amazon. I don’t like those. They are single full size sheets. They are very thin. The adapt a size is 140 sheets per roll. The 250 sheet per roll is the same size. I was expecting much bigger roll with over a 100 more sheets. I was thinking the quality would be same and the only difference is the full sheets are not adapt a size, but I was wrong. The 250 sheets are super thin and not so absorbent. They are the thinnest paper towels I’ve seen, but they are strong….just not so absorbent.

Typically use brown bulk paper towels. Tried white this round. It’s softer. Absorbent. But, am not able to use it for some projects. It doesn’t hold as much moisture. Though absorbs faster than the brown. I’m using more to absorb.
It vibes like a huge roll of toilet paper. Two ply.
Happy I tried this variety. It might work very well for you. If you like regular paper towel but rather have softer

Not the softest or absorbent towels, but didn’t really expect it. Bought them for after workout cleaning at my gym. Worked just fine for that purpose.

Yes, they are soft, priced well and have an easy to remove center tube. They also absorb fairly well, don’t shred in your hands or produce a lot of lint dust.
But…
1. They aren’t perforated so staff & customers easily pull out 3+ sheets without trying
2. They are narrow. You need more sheets to dry because they are smaller
3. Because of 1 & 2, we go through paper towels at an astonishing fast rate, much faster than other brands we have tried.
Negating our imagined savings.
I’ve tried several brands of these center pull towels and I’ve yet to find one that delivers as promoted. This one is closer than almost all I have tried, thus I am begrudgingly giving them a 4 star rating . Others seem to love them so maybe my expectations are too high but I’m gonna keep looking for one that actually delivers on their promises or change dispensers in our business.

Of course I bought this for home use when people went nuts after the pandemic was announced. I couldn’t, and still cannot understand, why toilet paper? Nevertheless, since I couldn’t get anything else, I went to Amazon for help. I was grateful to find this product at the time. It does it’s job, sort of. 12 rolls of 3.5 inch by 700 feet, one “jumbo” roll lasts me about a month. What’s not to like? For one, it’s the thinnest imaginable “2-ply” paper You can still see through it. You end up rolling off about 3 times what you would with normal TP. Secondly, it’s a “commercial” product for businesses who are anxious about clogging up the plumbing so it immediately starts shredding after even the slighted bit of moisture touches it so you need to roll off a second batch much of the time. That’s really all except to add: Would I purchase it again? Under similar circumstances, of course. Like I said, it does the job. Would I want to? Well, no. For comfort and ease of use, I’d certainly go for the real thing. I should add that as a child and youngster living on a very rural farm, I used an outhouse AND Sears and Roebuck and Montgomery Wards so it’s not like I don’t already know what a bare minimum for comfort is [consult your grandparents for details] . Still Angel Soft and Charmin are very good to have and I will indulge myself when I can. It’s good to know, however, that there ARE alternatives when needed
