I ordered this product because I have been exceptionally happy with Anker’s other products and support. The battery itself works exactly as expected. Like others have noted, it takes much longer to charge up the battery than expected. That’s not a problem for me – when traveling I will just charge it overnight.
I was not expecting a power button. Mine does not turn on automatically when attached to the phone, and I have forgotten to turn it on. Not a problem…it charges the phone fast enough that it just isn’t a problem to turn on the battery when I remember and go from there.

I like this because it’s slim and connects to my phone by magnet. It’s pretty strong too. It does get a little warm but it bears having to carry a bulky charger and cable!

Note: Photos are taken with the chargers on an iPhone 15 Pro with a Mous Limitless 5.0 case.
Size:
The 621 is thinner but longer than the 321 which, as the product description states, means that the 621 extends (slightly) past the bottom of a non-Max iPhone Pro (tested on a 13 Pro and a 15 Pro). However, for both the 13 Pro and the 15 Pro, once the case was on (Mous Limitless 4.0 on the 13 Pro, Mous Limitless 5.0 on the 15 Pro) the 621 was basically even with the bottom of the case. It may extend past the bottom of a lower-profile case. The 321 does not extend past the bottom of the case but is a bit thicker.
The 321 is a couple of grams lighter than the 621.
Appearance:
The 321 has a smoother, glossy-ish finish but seems to show more scratches when tossed in a backpack pocket with keys. The 621 is a more matte finish and not as slick, which may be a benefit from the standpoint of grip but shows fingerprints more easily. Both chargers are about the same when you put the phone in/take it out of your pocket (occasionally comes loose, depending on how tight your pockets are, but not often). Despite the more rounded edges of the 321 the 621 seems a bit easier to put in a pocket without catching it.
The 321 has a round “power” button with inset 4-light charge level indicator on the face of the charger case. The 621 has separate “power” and 4-light indicators on the bottom (either side of the USB-C charging port).
Notes:
Both have the same nominal capacity and seem to charge at about the same rate. Both allow you to charge a non-MagSafe compatible device (or if you have a non-MagSafe case) using a USB-C cable (provided the charge requirements are similar enough to the iPhone). When attaching to a MagSafe phone/case both start charging the phone automatically, but if using a cable you have to click the “power” button after plugging the charger into the device to activate charging.
I paid about $30 for the 621 ($35 less a $5 promotional coupon) and $25 for the 321. Overall I prefer the 621 as the finish seems higher quality and I prefer the thinner box. However, a $5 price difference makes it about a wash (I would still probably get the 621), but at $10 less the 321 is the winner.

So this thing def dies its job and really fast! It charges up my phone within 30 min if I’m near 0%. It does tend to get a little hot and it even caused my iPhone to say “charging stopped until device cools down”. The best thing is how well it magnetizes to your phone, even through a thick case!

Put these to the test over the course of a few months. Purchased Apple’s version of this for full retail price ($99.99). Figured for the price, i bet it’d do great things for my battery life… Turns out it never gets close to fully charging my phone, it gets me up to only about 30% of increased charge (on a good day). Noticed only about 20% on an average day’s use. Additionally, the Apple one does not come packaged with a charger for the device you’re buying. It is packaged by itself and you’re expected to already have a charger or buy a new one. The product itself dies so fast i feel like i am charging it more than i do any of my apple tech, even my airpods — which really illustrates the irony here. Apple somehow came to the decision of selling us a rechargeable battery with no charging chord included. One thing i’ll say about the Apple Magsafe is that it survived a wash cycle when i accidentally threw it in with my bed sheets, so in all honesty, that was pretty impressive. Now moving onto Anker… first of all, anker comes with a charger! And detailed user manual. More than half the price less, Anker comes with advantages outweighing the Apple name by dividends. Anker’s customizable marketing is insane — browsing through their portable chargers, you’ll see that they have different ones at different prices, specifics vary enough for just about everyone. after choosing the model best for you, select your personal favorite from a plethora of color options! So you get a charger + your favorite color in your purchase…that’s a great start. Now let’s get into the experience. This thing charges my phone nearly 50% at least increased percentage FAST and stays on for hours at a time. I’ve gotten up to 80% charge so many times. Has a dotted illuminated sequence feature along the bottom edge that will convey the status of its charge, as well as remain lit when you power the device on, and diminish when turned off/dead. This is convenient to tell if you’ve left your device on but meant to turn it off, or have it off and need to power it on. The power is triggered by a small side button that requires direct pressure from your hand. It is dense enough to prevent any accidental powering on or off as you hold or carry the device, there are no annoying mistakes made there as one would preemptively assume, which is great to have that intentional detail actually very well serve its purpose. This model is slim enough to hug my phone without unnecessary bulk. Much like any other magsafe devices on the market, yours will increase in temperature and feel warm for the duration of your charge. This is not something you can escape due to any compact battery using the limited space it has to conduct a power charge to another device, so accept the science happening there. Size is longer than the Apple, slightly wider in width by a micro amount, and noticeably taller in height. These size differences were not inconvenient due to how slim the device itself is, and how it sits on the device is comparable to the Apple. Weight is not heavy, but you can feel the difference when charging your phone, won’t lie about it looking lighter than it is. In conclusion, spending $100 on an Apple product seems to be just that — it’s $100 only BECAUSE it’s an apple product, if you want the logo then pay the price, and get a wimpy charge. i would suggest purchasing 2 magsafes to have with you if you’re going the Apple route. it’s just not enough for the reasons targeted customers would need this and benefit from it. To any busy, on the go/working/social human being on the market for a product they can depend on to power through the day in order to make ends meet; remain available to others; or ensure their safety. These things really do impact your day and for that you deserve something that will make all the difference. As i come to an end of argument here, I will conclude with the reason i wrote this very long review in comparison of said two products. The answer is because i was searching endlessly before I found nothing detailed enough to make or break my decision or many questions, so that’s why i just bought them both over time. Hopefully this helps someone genuinely curious about this debacle like i was, and anyone researching before spending their hard earned money. Thanks again to anyone for reading. Just wanted to give the review I would have wanted to read. This isn’t sponsored by the way, i am currently using my Anker charger whilst writing this long awaited review on my flight right now. LOL. We’re currently sitting at 88% and still charging!! Cheers.

I just received this portable charger & did a small test for about 15min. I use a popscoket on my phone case so I obviously have to take the whole case off but I will not care. I am going on a trip the beginning of February & will def most likely need it considering the destination. When I first put on charger it went down 1%, idk why, could’ve just been my phone doing that in general, Within the time of this small 15min test, yes my phone did get real warm & went up 5%. Within 10 ish minutes using phone after the small charge it has gone down to 44%. I will update review when I get back from trip with the real use I’m hoping to get out of it.

I bought 2 of these for my wife and I since we were tired of bringing massive chargers around. I just returned from deployment and hit many ports. I have several Anker chargers from 10K to 20K mAh. These are cumbersome carrying around in a pocket, but this form factor is perfect and attaches to the phone with no issue.
The charging speed is just ok. It will charge when you are out and about not becoming uncomfortable in your pocket. Again, best form factor. 1 of mine will stop charging consistently when connected. I have used it on multiple phones with the same result. It’ll charge for the first 30 seconds and then cut off even though it’s fully charged. My other charger works as advertised. They do get hot in your pocket but it’s not uncomfortable or really an issue, just something to note. Will send the first charger back and get a new one and I’m sure it’ll be fine.

I have a lot of power banks and this is one of my favorites. Other people with different needs could justifiably say it’s one of the most useless.
I already have plenty of large power banks, from 10-20k mah qi chargers to 30k mah beasts that charge laptops at 100w. This charger is very different. My iPhone 14 Pro Max battery is 4,232 mah and wireless charging is not terribly efficient, so this 5,000 mah magnetic power bank doesn’t fully charge my phone. It also only provides 7.5w so it doesn’t charge it very fast. This is not a battery pack to quickly take you from 0-100% multiple times during a week away from outlets.
I love this thing because it provides a kind of freedom those bigger units don’t. Even the fairly slim 10k mah qi chargers I have are basically like carrying another slightly bigger phone and without magnets they won’t wirelessly charge in your pocket. You have to sit them down flat or bring a cable with you. And to be honest I don’t need to bring 2+ extra phone charges with me every day.
This one is barely noticeable when I slip it into my pocket in the morning. It’s a little longer than a credit card (used up gift card in the picture, sorry guys) and thinner than my phone in a case. Much thinner than my AirPods Pro (which this battery will also charge). And it weighs 0.28 lbs, about a quarter of what my phone in modest leather case weighs.
My recorded test matches daily use, it took my iPhone 14 Pro Max from 9-73% in about two hours. Slow and 64% of my battery. And exactly what I want from it.
My phone already lasts a long time, this just provides peace of mind or still gives me a day of wireless freedom if I left the house with my phone under 30%. It’s tiny, weighs almost nothing, and guarantees I make it through even the longest day without any hint of concern about my phone battery.
And to be honest I normally charge my phone from about 20-85%, so even though it’s far shy of 100% it seems like a full charge to me. For those of you with normal size phones instead of maxes, your 3,200 mah / my 4,232 = 75.6%. So if I get 64% / .756 smaller battery = an estimated 85% charge for you guys.
Also to address the people complaining about heat – the back of the battery does warm up in your palm, but it keeps the charging side and the phone comparatively cool. As someone who’s had a malfunctioning MagSafe charger before kicking off serious heat, you’ll know when something’s wrong. This bit of warmth is not a problem.
In summary, this isn’t a powerhouse that fully charges your phone all week. This is a tiny, light as air, barely noticeable extra 64-85% of a phone charge that gets you through long days or times you’re leaving in a hurry with a depleted phone. It is the most convenient gadget I own, discreetly charging my phone in my pocket without a cable. Other clunkier batteries can keep me away from outlets for a week, but this one effortlessly gets me through everyday life.

It’s a great battery so far it’s a nice replacement from my mophie one but it has some negatives from my mophie one but it has more positives
Pros:
-it’s very slim
-it charges 5w-7.5w wirelessly
-Very strong magnets
-very strong usbc port
-Doesn’t interact with the camera bump on my 13 mini
-really nice materials and build quality
-it has pass through charging (when plugged in it can charge itself and my phone at the same time
-it has a rubber type material so on the non matte back iPhones it will grip on more making it harder to slide off
Cons:
-it charges very slow im using a 45w ac adapter and it seems to be charging at 20w my mophie one can charge at 45w for 2 hour charging time the anker one has been on the charger for 2 hours and just got to the 3rd led
-it gets warm when charging my mini but if you have a bigger phone your phone won’t get as hot when charging
Misc:
-it turns on automatic my when i put it on the back of my phone but before that I can turn it on with the button and hold the button so it won’t turn on until I want to use it
-the button is very clicks and solid
-the leds are bright enough but hard to see outdoors
-it doesn’t have the official MagSafe charging animation

I was disappointed that item was delivered late. On initial date, which was promised. I received email stating delivery would be a few days late. That would have been okay had I not needed by the initial due date. Amazon could not cancel order because it was in transit to be delivered when I called to let them know I would be out of town for a few days for fear it might get stolen. I spoke to an Amazon supervisor who made things right. Order could not be cancelled but could be rescheduled. I still don’t understand why delivery company could reschedule but not just return it. Delivery company emailed to let me know it was being delivered two days after initial due date. I called Amazon and reschedule for the follieing day when I’d be home from trip.
With respect t to Battery pack,
Cons: battery pack and iPhone 14 Pro Max heated up and took over an hour to get from 86% to 89% charge. Very slow.
Pros: compact and magnetic strip works great! 😀 weight is not bad fir my needs. It’s all relative to individual discretion about what is and what is not heavy.
Very sturdy battery pack. Product was secured in its box, very well packaged. The downside for me is the speed. However it’s sturdy & compact sized and weight is fine for me.
If you are concerned about the heat, do a web search.
If you are not concerned about slow charge I recommend The Anker.
With regards to delivery date being unexpectedly delayed and you need a next day delivery know that deliveries may be delayed by uncontrollable conditions such as weather, etc.
Again Amazon made things right and I have no complaints about Anker.
