Apple season is here and this bundle provides just what you need, whether you are looking to bake some pie, stock up on school lunch supplies, or keep the doctor away, as the saying goes. Each bundle includes 6-8 pounds of apples grown with care on a local orchard, selected by our team of personal food shoppers, and brought to you. These seasonal and locally sourced apples are perfect for canning, snacking, or making a big batch of applesauce. Here is a simple recipe to get you started: Peel and core apples or leave the peels on as desired for a more rustic texture (and added nutrients!) Chop and place in a pot with an inch or so of water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally until the apples break down to form a sauce. Mash, blend, or leave chunky, according to your preference. We like adding a little cinnamon to ours. All vegetables and herbs are sourced directly from local farms including Great Road Farm, Ort Farm, Pineland Farms, Happy Harvest Hydroponics, Terhune Orchards, Jeff’s Organics, Russo’s Orchard, Sandy Acres, Cranberry Hall Farms, Chickadee Creek Farm, Chia-Sin Farm, and Melick’s Town Farm.

i got 6 apples, small in size, each apple was a different type (yellow, grannysmith, & 4 other types) BUT I STILL MADE A PIE OUT OF THEM. ONLY BECAUSE I SPENT THE $23. on them .

If you don’t mind paying some extra to get flavor then these are good. I like to have apples handy for lunch, and these fit the bill.

Apples were good, but 6 apples for the price was dumb. I just looked at the picture and pressed the button.

Awesome farmers market apples. Purchased some apples from the grocery store and they just seem bland in comparison.
